Manuel David Rendon Acevedo I think fans understand this. Most bands change with time. I don’t want to speak for anyone but myself. But there is definitely more of a commercial sound with this album and the last. While I do enjoy them a lot I can’t help but question how genuine they are. There are a handful of songs that perplex me and sound contrived. I know Leto is capable of more meaningful work. But that’s just ME. And who the fuck am I?? NOBODY. 🤷🏻‍♀️🥑 Holy guacamole.

If I ever make it to Camp Mars, I need to give Jared my interpretation of what this song is really saying, and hopefully he can answer my inquisitive mind. Even though the lyrics seem simplistic, they definitely speak volumes. As part of the Echelon (2003), I've essentially grown up listening and resonating with Jared's lyrics and music, no matter the melody behind them. I personalize the songs to fit whatever is happening in MY life, but when I stop to listen to the message, what is Jared saying about HIS? This song is hauntingly beautiful and my heart goes out to him and for whatever this song is telling us.
