Honestly I like this version better than the new one. Maybe because it’s much more raw, maybe just the overall tone of the music. Regardless this serves as the genesis of what I consider to be one of the greatest bands of all time.

Thanks for waiting for my ride with my in Joliet Andrew, my “bro” didn’t come with my ride an hour home until 4:30 am, kinda scary lmao in pitch black empty Joliet streets punch drunk, white wine reminded me what you said to me earlier, everything is fine just walk straight you’ll make it, never drank that much again lol (most days ha) learned my lesson. People showed me bad “scream0” (blood on the dance floor & Norma Jean were not my cup of tea ugh, talented, yes, but, not a fan yo) so I grew up with this unexplainable odd bias against anything not classic available on vinyl (or dusty cassettes at some point). Heard Math Rock, then every Fall of Troy album, then THIS album blew me away for some reason... Reminds me of what I was planning on accomplishing with hundreds of hours of demos I have saved on my recorders... I promise I’ll send a demo when my computer gets fixed up! ^_^ I followed Tim’s advice & ACTUALLY made a one man band, I’m actually serious lmao he’ll LOVE this XD XP Glad you’ve all buried the hatchet & Tim’s happy with his kids :-D

Doppelganger is great but the last two songs suck and just sound like they were struggling to end the record. This is the most consistent TFOT release, therefore my favorite by them even if it doesnt hit doppelganger's peaks
