yea this was with the 3 original members of the fall of troy and including another guitarist which made a 4 man band. after he quit the band they changed their name and the rest is pretty obvious lol. god i fucking love these guys. probably my favorite song off this EP

@kanga44 this song title is reminiscent of many of minus the bear's song titles. not surprising, considering their guitarist was an inspiration of erak's. the guitar in this song even sounds similar to early minus the bear.

@squillz0210 I think taht they changed their music style too. They went a bit hardcore which isnt nececssarily a bad thing... But they jsut sounded different. Back when they were the 30 Years war all of their songs just had the feel of a small town in winter or Autumn if that makes any sense.

it's thomas erak. yes, he is awesome. no. there is no other guitarist. erak records multiple guitar tracks. erak was in a band called tribune before this but there were no other tfot or ttyw members in that band.

+Daniel Dmyszewicz The Fall of Troy recently reunited and are supposed to be coming out with a new album. Not sure if you are familiar with them, but this thirty years war band was the fall of troy before the fall of troy. Anyway, it should be interesting to see how their new album turns out now that they are more mature and more to the point, I wonder how the vocals will be, they seem to be playing a lot with Chon, a largely instrumental math rock band from San Diego, I wonder if it will have any influence on vocals. Especailly now that all that scenester/screamo sort of scene from the early to mid last decade they used to be a part of is basically long gone, can't keep making the same music, surely.

Yo Chocola I guess I just mean that "scene and scenesters etc." and the music that went along with it isn't quite as relevant anymore (because let's not confuse their music with metalcore or some such). I am curious to see if they change it up a bit. I have no idea which way they will go. I mean, if we look at all their albums, they definitely changed from album to album along the way. So, will there be a massive change from the last one that came out in '09 or whenever that was? I kind of hope so just because I think it would be interesting to see the direction they take with it if they do make a big change, but if they went with more or less the same feel as say, Doppelganger, I wouldn't be too upset about that either.
