sir you use some kind of shadows of trees behind your elevation drawing in background. it looks absolutely stunning so if you could teach us that then we would be very thankful.

Robyn Lemer dude. Use ur imagination. Measure it, look at the top view and draw it showing any other stuff in context. Like sidewalk, trees, wall or chairs.

There is an extra Tool for Shadows. This is a real armateur way to do things. Besides The fact that youn can do Shadows in Vectorworks with one click and this will all end up beeing rastered

Nikko Mur good eye...it's an existing structure so I opted not to add one to differentiate the proposed scheme (the small outbuilding at the bottom of the page is existing too). Cheers...

Why are you using Photoshop instead of Illustrator when architectural work (as far as architectural floor plans, Site Plans and elevations) is vector-based? Illustrator would make more sense being that it will drastically reduce your file size while providing you with the crispness that a pixel-based application can not afford you without drastic pixel count and file sizes.

No, this is not good. You have eliminated a lot of the original line art topology seen in the beginning of the video. I would have just used a straight Multiply Blend mode to emphasize the land features and use multiple color and gradient adjustment layers for the background. The problem with using raster based picture backgrounds is they can overwhelm the final result unless its a fairly plain image to start with. That is why you inverted the line art to try and overcome this problem, and failed. Futhermore, using a vingnette for a shadow effect at the end, just made a bad job, even worse. I am not suggesting never to use photographs for vector line art rendering, it simply does not work on this particular case.
