To all those industrial builders as well as residential contractors it is wise and profitable to take an Architectural Degree to adequately build a get your building passed by the city Or dance as well as C.O.D.E.S. enforcement.😁🗽🇺🇸

I'm an interior designer, would you be able to share your CAD line templates with me?
But how to gain practical and professional experience that differs from country to another if I don't learn from someone whose more experienced than me?

I’ve been an architect for 23 years. Running my own firm. I quickly realized I’ll never be able to create decent wealth , you can’t scale as an architect. So I decided to become an architect led real estate developer. I’ve created millions of dollars in wealth and a decent cash flow stream from rentals. I’ve created my own projects and have not had a client in over decade. Never been happier.

Man i just got my degree in architecture. Whenever i was asked by lower years about architectural conceptualizations and design process, your channel is the first thing i recommend. Need more of these.

So during my courses in drafting, and my work building houses to pay for college, I’ve never come across a dogtrot layout. I stumbled on this as I’m toying with an iteration of the dogtrot idea to meet a few arcane zoning restrictions in an area I want to build. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I now have a more sound jumping off point other than my imagination

I love the obstructions tip. I am currently redoing a school project that had some pretty significant size constraints (the middle unit of a series of townhouses). Use these constraints to come up with different versions of this project. It’s the difference of being asked to draw a shape vs asked to draw a rectangle; it allows for more focus thought :)

Thank you for your great insights on this. I have worked in an Architecture firm for almost 10 years, and only decided to do my own stuff recently. I wonder if you still use good old AutoCAD or have you switched to BIM like Revit?

Wonderfully pratical for an amateur like myself. I have got to shoot my photos with the camera I've got, with the little time I am willing to give to each shot and to select and fix as much as possible in Lightroom. Finally, I show my photos to family in slide shows. I like looking at architecture, but nobody is going to praise me if I spend half a day taking The Perfect Shot.

How inspiring this is; I'm glad to have found you. I think that at about the same age we have stumbled on the same purpose issues. Not that all your videos aren't highly interesting, but this one comes to me at that time in my life where I'm wondering what's my next step. You are right, I can take control of this. Thank you :)

As a practicing architect,I wish I had billable hours to do this for my clients! I am however a keen model railroader and your videos are totally appropriate for that market HO (1:87 scale) I use Archicad software and tend to build from scaled elevations glued to heavy card stock (tend to stay away from waterbased glues for that to avoid wrinkles) Keep up the good work
