So much respect for Jared. I honestly did not know he had a big role in the directing process, let alone creating the concept and directing it flawlessly himself. Truly a creative and highly intelligent man.

can you see those tears in Jared´s eyes while talking? it makes me love him even more. he feels every single second in his life, he just lives his life the way it is supposed to be lived. i wish to have a person as him in my life. but he is the only one in the whole world so. but anyway, he changed my life and i´m trying to make my dreams come true, because of him. he taught me that this life worth it. and because of this, he deserves my biggest "thank you". so thank you Jared, for everything.

This was fascinating from start to finish, the vision and how much Jared killed himself to get that from his head into reality .Also what a tight unit, what trust and a strong bond between Jared,Shannon and Tomo- (like a brother from another mother)such hard workers.Their success is no mystery .

+Szabo Tamas I love that there is post production included in this. Also it must've been an amazing journey that I can't even imagine or comprehend, the part when Jared said, those people weren't actors shocked me... wow. That really is amazing. It proves how important trust is in a project like this and how important it is in the world. And how you can let go and be yourself.

this video deserves like an award for showing the real side of life. our parents always say that life is beautiful and that life is perfect the way it is, at least that is what my grandparents say, but i knew it's more than that, it's also pain, anger, desappointment and lies. Life is not as beautiful as people usually think it is, it's more than happiness and dreams. you are right, this video is an eye-opener to people that don't see life the way the should, and i thank 30STM for showing it.

I think its amazing that rappers can have whatever they want in their videos. an its not anything but sexually degrading. but when someone makes a video about the intricate life of dreams and our deepest desires and fetishes. its offensive. the music industry has given way to clones with no talent and no sense of artistic vision. 30 seconds to mars made an amazing video. they should have won awards for this master piece.

There's always something that captivates the mind when it comes to dreams, violence, fetishes, sexuality, & the more horrifying things to life that most of us don't ever see, or choose to ignore. I'm very impressed, because I choose to open my eyes to things like this, this is the world I live in, & believe in. And the fact that 30STM decided to turn this into something everyone could see, is amazing. It's an eye-opener. This is the darker side to life.

I was one of those who skipped school to watch the Michael Jackson, "Beat It" MTV first video. Yes, I gave up my basic age but my point is I haven;t had such a feeling of another epic video til Hurricane. Well done for going forward and waiting out the censors until the intelligent people got the chance to see it and understand the depth of meaning in that video. Gave me chills for many reasons. Thank you guys for being so creative and allowing us to enjoy a portion of it. yes, I know a little behind in catching up but hey, I loved it!

I didn't watch Hurricane MV until a week or so...I was blown away by how creatively profound this short film was. The drastic dichotomy of elements explored in the MV was so innovative. I really enjoyed getting in Jared's head as he explains the behind the scenes aspects of this amazing music video. I agree with Tomo that there's way more offensive things bombarded at us...but nope 30STM's "Hurricane" music video not only unnecessarily censored but banned by many broadcast networks. Jared is a truly innovative artist...he never stops thinking how he can creatively express himself through various mediums of art. I have newfound appreciation for this band. Shannon, Jared, and Tomo are all incredibly talented artists in their own ways. Thirty Seconds to Mars truly worked hard for their worldwide success and I have immense respect for this band. I've been listening to 30STM since 2008...but Suicide Squad re-awoke my love for this band! My KZbin basically is silently judging me with how many 30STM band interviews and live performance videos I've watched these past three weeks. I regret absolutely nothing.

I will forever appreciate the work that went into this film. It's amazing and while I was confused the first time I saw it (2 years ago when I really discovered 30Seconds to Mars) I've come to find a new meaning or layer every time since. It's also the first visual representation I remember seeing of alternative tastes in sex, primarily the BDSM culture which has intrigued me since. Also, as a note, it's really awesome that the people in the video are not actors but regular people choosing to share a very intimate and private, often misjudged and looked down upon part of their lives. Now as to the premise of the video....I have to say they achieved the dream/nightmare state. And to have done a lot of the primary shooting in New York, that's pretty amazing. I'm not sure I fully understand Shannen's storyline completely, and Jared's has one or two elements I'm still working through. But for the most part, the film is clear and I absolutely love that it adds another layer to the lyrics, at least for me. I might have preferred to see less gear used on the girl in Jared's scenes, but that's personal preference, as is my dislike of the "bunny costume" on the girl from Tomo's story. But overall it's a well done, tasteful video that doesn't overdo anything.

I have to say this. I found myself lost in this wonderland, softly wishing that this dreaming would somehow manifest into reality. I found myself caressing my cheeks and lips softly. Unaware till the end. There is something primal about the music mixing with the synergy of the symbolism there in, combined with the cinematography that speaks to mind. I honestly believe this would scare most people and is most likely the reason it was band.

Well, Jared, the reason the book burning scene didn't promote debate, was because, I for one, didn't get the symbolism behind that scene until you revealed your mind behind it! I honestly agonized over that scene, and thought to myself every time, what is he trying to say here? Thank you! I was probably not alone in pondering and musing over that scene.
