Surprisingly, Adept has better EHP at all levels, you might want Sweet for the speed in dungeons, but just from the Power it is better to go with Adept as HP is 100x more effective than Defense, and even then, at high MP, the Defense is less by about 4, at most 10.

Calculated it myself, and just by The Power itself, Adept is always better. HP is just 100x more effective compared to Defense. Even at extreme MPs, the Defense only drops below by 10 points.
