Of course. For years people speculated that North America suffered an impact from an asteroid some time around ~10,000yrs ago that devastated the planet. Killing much of the mega fauna of North America. Causing biblical flooding and loss of coastal land the world over. Which maybe a source for religious stories of biblical flooding. Oddly enough if we are to believe Plato's account of Atlantis, they find that he gives a date roughly around the time of this impact incident. All this was speculation without an impact crater but just last year I believe NASA announced they found an impact zone and have dated it to roughly ~10,000yrs ago.

@@-KillaWatt- precisely. as he told the tale of Atlantis as it was presented to him 2000yrs ago by Solon, when he was asked when this occurred, he replied 9k years ago... that would place it around the 11k year mark today, and the yunger drias event is believed to have occured around 11'900 AD... It really would explain alot... well said.

@@boss350z5 this also explains the extreme water erosion we see in Egypt that is yet to be explained. It explains why we see such a decline in construction capabilities of different civilizations. Again, Egypt is a great example of this as we see a major difference in construction of the old Kingdom versus the new Kingdom. Egypt also houses a list of pharoaohs that date back some 10,000yrs as well. Which researchers just dismissed as more or less lore. Another fascinating thing is a landmass called Doggerland. It was an enormous landmass that connected Britain to mainland Europe. It was completely submerged roughly ~10,000yrs ago. This would have been biblical for any humans living in the area. I could go on and on about this topic. Not only is the evidence overwhelming but it's fascinating.
