Lildiamonds_ Manager Technically in the US if you’re dating someone before you turn 18 like a 17 year old dating a 13 year old. When the 17 year old turns 18 he can continue dating her I believe as long as she is of the age of 13. I know a girl who is 18 and dating a 14 year old and it technically is perfectly legal.

Damn, when I was 12, I was still watching my favorite kids’ shows because of how nostalgic they were (my grandma wouldn’t let me watch anything else, really) before going home to watch Goosebumps on Cartoon Network and being all excited that I was as old as that kid from the cuckoo clock episode. It was literally a balance between Pre-CGI Thomas the Tank Engine and Ben Ten. And in many ways, it still is even now. Why? I don’t know. It’s just the NOSTALGIA of being a kid that appeals to me, not to mention the fact that older shows are A LOT better than some of the new stuff today. I honestly don’t get some kids today.

I looked it up, the law is its illegal to have sex in the USA with anyone under 18 unless their ages are less than 4 years apart. So if they had sex, it's illegal if she's actually 12, but legal if she is 13 or 14. Still disgusting either way. Edit: I'm getting a lot of responses saying it's different State by state. So, assuming they live in California, the law says "(b) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is not more than three years older or three years younger than the perpetrator, is guilty of a misdemeanor." So if she really is 14, than it's legal, but it's probably illegal since she is 12. Either way he's still a Nonce. Edit 2: moved response up here. Just a reminder: the consent law changes state by state in the USA, California has no Romeo and Juliet clauses, and the age of consent is 18.
