I think the AUG has a unique place as it's slower fire rate makes mid-long range engagements a lot easier, and it's cheaper to get optimal builds (MCX can be done budget, sure, but AUG needs basically no mods). I just wish I could be done with all the 'use X gun' quests so I can actually give them all a proper try!

@DarKcS2 yeah the aug a3 with trader bought elcan spectre is still my go-to for lighthouse or shoreline, but I'm gonna start using this cbj ammo mcx for interchange and stuff

You are missing kut not using the daniel defence stocks they give -20% recoil and +14 ergo for only 10k on flea or £52

The sharp damage drop off on the mcx is absolutely brutal in mid range fights or ambushes. It goes from juice cannon to pellet gun

i picked one up and had to use it to finish a kill after a full adar spray with 855. .... took like 5 more hits and the last one was a headshot.

It doesn't have sharp damage dropoff at all. It has extremely GOOD damage dropoff, better than almost every other caliber.

@@schmuckballs You have no clue what you're talking about. "Damage to armor" isn't even a stat. It only shows flesh damage and flesh damage negated by armor. That has nothing to do with damage falloff. Regardless, ALL .300BLK rounds in Tarkov have extremely good ballistic coefficients--which is the stat that calculates damage falloff. Its actively datamined. CBJ maintains its damage and pen massively better than M855A1. That's a fact.

I like the longer handguard for the drip, I also run one of the all one piece stocks bcs not lvl 40. Mcx is my new fav mid-close gun in game. Cbj way more attainable than sp6

Try taking the stock off of it. I have been running that as of late. Its so much better going through thresholds and you can hardly notice the additional recoil.

yessss i recently used it on costums and got 3 pmc's with BCP FMJ 30 pen is not that bad anymore with the changes to armor and knowing how fast the thing shoots ur more than likely to squeez a bullet in the weak plates of armor

BCP FMJ is pretty weak compared to 7.62x39PS. However once you get to CBJ, CBJ significantly outclasses 7.62x39PP.

its a great gun but the ammo is way too expensive if you dont have it unlocked with the trader sadly , much better options at a lot lower price overall. aug 3, ak-74u, g36 and p90 all cheap and great

I liked the MCX until I had to use it further than close range. Other weapons are simply better and more versatile once you leave close range, which narrows it down to few maps and how you have to play

i am ADDICTED to the SKS it is fucking insane this wipe once you unlock PP ammo using the UAS stock and either the best muzzle or a suppressor removes all recoil at full spam if used loud with a scope you can get it to 73 ergo and 53 vert recoil it will probably get patched it feels way too good for such an old rifle

im doing the adar its like a stm of previous wipes. regardless of how much customization you run on it the recoil is manageable. fun builds now

What problem does it have at range? The bullets hit really hard at range and have better ballistic coefficients than 7.62x39 or 5.56 or even 7.62NATO.

VAL and MCX have the stopping power that 5.45 and 5.56 don't have IMO this wipe, I only use these, 7.62x51, 7.62x54 and the new spear ammo. Tbh, I love 7.62 AKs too but they kind of blow this wipe, even with PP. It's an odd wipe for sure but it's good.

Eft ammo helps a lot, sorts all the ammo out and shows the stats

Longer handguard isn't necessarily better, look of rifle with this suppressor almost fully hidden is unmatched

You made one mistake on this build: Run it with the Monstrum Compact 2x. It's perfect for this gun.

Probably the best low level gun in the game. When’s cbj getting banned 😂? You’re essentially shooting 855a1 but you can actually buy it instead of getting gatekept until lvl 30! What a concept.

Kind of nerfed though by the price… 1600-2000 rubles a round ain’t cheap to shoot! So Timmies going broke shooting that ammo, and chads just buying it from skier lvl 4. I think very expensive on flea. but good rounds is a good balance. Lower levels can run it at a heavy cost, basically limiting them via price. Chads can spam buy every restock and rotate 55A1 craft+56A1 purchase etc. I like the limitations to meta the game has slowly experienced, but at the end of the day it’s mostly the same once you have things unlocked. Just rotating between metas to some extent. They’ve hurt the more casual players more than anything by the changes and I think it would be good for the health of player base to go back to the drawing board and see how they can give a helping hand to the Timmies.
