Don't forget that Queen Noor (Born Lisa Halaby) also has Swedish Blood as well. Alot of Swedish Folks married people of Arabian background. Nadia Bjorlin of Days Of Our Lives The US Soap Opera is the daughter of a Swedish Father and Iranian Mother. Jwan Joseph (Ricky Martin's Husband) has Swedish and Syrian Blood and their Two Children (through a surrogate) are a mixture of Puerto Rican blood, Syrian and Swedish.

@@RedRose-cn8ln Historically there has always been and there's still now a larger group of arabs (Semites) in Syria and they all speak arabic, yes, because they all were indeed "arabized" beginning from the they 7th century, before that the spoken language there was mostly Aramaic (and Assyrians still tend to speak it as far as ik). In fact, like in all other countries conquered by arabs (basically saying, like someone else commented, that they are Arabs since they speak arabic, it'd be like stating that all south americans are spaniards just because they speak spanish). There are other ethnic groups there (at least there were in larger numbers, before the war) and it's well known that originally genetically overall syrians are also close to Cretans, East Mediterraneans, Lebanese , Armenians. I don't want to dispute it just to prove some personal point, it's just that i was introduced to this by knowing quite a lot syrians and being always reminded by them that not all want to be called or consider themselves arabs. So that i am personally quite careful to label them all as such. About iranians, yes, we can all just agree that they are mostly persians and implying that they are arabs (like in the comment above) it's just a matter of ignorance (no ill intended, i just mean by it "to ignore" some basic historical facts)

I find your comment about princess Hala having European features very laughable because every time I go to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Malta, Greece and southern France, I’m impressed how many dark hair and dark eyes people I see in those countries, not that I mind because in my country Norway, we love the Mediterranean look and the olive skin tone which we don’t have. Many of the Eastern Mediterranean countries like Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine have very similar looks to the Western and Southern Mediterranean peoples I’ve just mentioned. I was so surprised to see so many blond or red headed kids in Lebanon and Syria during my study abroad year at the American University of Beirut. So it’s not only Europeans who have light eyes and light hair. You’d also find many of them in Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. One thing I learned while in the Near East, being an Arab person isn’t an ethnicity, it’s a cultural thing because Arabs can be black, brown and white, just like many parts of the world and Southern Europe.

Hamzah was the designated heir until Abdullah II had his own son and he came of age, then Abdullah made his son his heir. Nothing wrong with that. Hussein did the same thing. He had his brother as his heir until he named his son when Hussein was sick as it became apparent that his brother was corrupt and a bad ruler as the brother was regent while Hussein was out of the country getting treatment. As king, he can appoint whomever he wants as heir. Hamzah was never written in stone and he was foolish to think Abdullah would not consider his son.

It is shallow to tout just a person’s face and clothes. This girl you are calling the “star of the Wedding based on her face and a green outfit does not deserve that status! She obviously lives in luxury and so far has done nothing in terms of work or service for the Jordanian people or her family, or her ancestors. That takes consistent / persistent hard work and service. Service that Queen Rania has provided every day since her ascension to the status of Queen. Simply put, you should look at more than a pretty face to honour a person and call them a star. Queen Rania and her daughters have represented Jordan with respect with their intelligence, service, grace, integrity 4:13 elegance. They have studied hard and worked diligently and have changed the image of Muslim and Arabic women in the eyes of the entire world, including especially Europe and America. The Stars you pick should not be women with just a pretty face. Queen Rania has an MBA, Princess Iman graduated from Georgetown University which is one of the Most prestigious and high calibre universities in the world. Princess Salma is in the Armed forces and flies fighter aeroplanes. In contrast Queen Noor was accorded more respect than she deserved, but because of her lack of sincerity to the King and Queen she is in exile and her son, who was plotting against the King is still under house arrest.
