@@euroasianbob9268 I drove a couple of those things 20 or 30 years ago. Watching April shift gears, I know yours must have been a deluxe model, (maybe US-only???). None of the ones I drove had synchromesh beyond 1st gear - you had to double-clutch every time. Which was a lot of fun if you were trying to accelerate uphill 😖. Edit: What am I talking about - it's right-hand drive, obviously not meant for sale in the US.

I couldnt agree more. As a mild, I think, Dyslexic my self, I once had an encounter with a young lady on a telephone whilst I was reserving concert tickets. She was soo sweet, I wanted to reach down the phone to give her a hug. Then she thanked ME for being so patient??

The Fiat 600 was licensed to be manufactured in Yugoslavia as the Zastava 750 and was widely known by its nickname "Fićo”. My parents had one before I was born and said I was conceived in one. I had the pleasure to travel 500km to a sea side holiday in one with 6 people in it. You could only go 35km/h up hill in one.

Uncle had a white one in Macedonia in the 90s. It was hilariously slow. Wheel fell off while we were driving on the highway and he had to stop every 30 mins to fill it with water to cool it down. It was overheating. Nonetheless a fun experience as a 11 year old at the time.

I thing that forward stalk that you were wondering about is the Highbeam lowbeam switch. That is the indication that you want to pass someone in Italy so you really need that even the daylight hours. Oh and the Romance question. The seats on most Italian cars go down all the way flat and the leg room is perfect for extracurricular activities.

In abou 1958 to 1961 dad was a parts/service manager and mechanic for Fiat in Oregon City, Oregon. Owners used to drop theri cars by our house and he would take them to work for service or repairs. One of those cars was a 1959 Square Body 1200 Spyder we enjoyed on several weekends when it was left with us. It became my first sports car when they bought a 1962 Comet from dad after he started selling cars. I wish I had VIN number 000084 back again today. It was part of the first Square Bidies to arrive on North American shores. We enjoyed 500's, 600's, Mulitplas, and my 1200 Spyder when they were at the house.

This is so great. My dad bought one when we moved to Portugal for two years. Rather hilly , spectacular and interesting place, especially if you enjoy the smell of eucalyptus. He would start it up from the town to take us home to the village. Start it up, get to speed, then shut it off and roll all the way home. The most memorable ride in that car was when I had to go to the hospital for an emergency Appendix operation at 8 years old. The most funny was that on the downhill parts, he would just shut it off and gravity made it faster than it's actual top speed. Great video and memories. If I could find one in Canada, I would add it for shits and giggles.

I owned one. The 4 cylinder motor was 747 cc in displacement. Front suspension was by a transverse leaf spring. The hydraulic brakes were terrible. The rear swing arm independent suspension delivered a good ride and amazing traction off road. Tyler really needs to become more skilled and sympathetic with his driving skills. His stalling and gear crunching is embarrassing.
