Literally the best car!!!! I just got rid of mine cause someone crashed into it and it was a total loss. Bought the car in 2005 with 2008 miles on it and ended up with 303k. Was so sad to see her go!

If its in nice shape that sounds reasonable. Check for a leaking steering rack, a new one is $2-$3k and make sure their are no engine lights on. Bad engine and transmission modules can be pricey to replace. Other than that it can be a good car that can go another 100k miles.

Don't do it without looking at everything, i bought one a few days ago with 183k on it, last night i either blew a freeze plug or the block is cracked.

just like i told bro above, not a good deal. for 3k you can find a 03-04 sedan thats around 150k, look for people who have Gs sitting in their yards. they might be willing to get rid of it

A used transmission or engine installed by an Infiniti Service Department will be about $6k for either. There are other shops that will do it cheaper, but your best odds of getting the job done right is by an Infiniti Certified or Master Tech that works on these cars all day long. But if its a a vehicle with 170K it would not be worth doing the work, you could go out and find a perfectly used G35 for $6k. It would only make sense if you could do the labor yourself or if you have a friend or family member who could do it cheap. The parts are not what expensive, especially used ones, its the labor costs that get you on jobs like this.

i own two g35s rn and one of them has 202k miles, the engines are strong and reliable and so are the trans, if if was well maintained with proper maintenance and not abused so heavily it shouldn’t have any problems with going another 50-100k, just slight maintenance along the way

bad deal. back in 2019 i got a 2004 pearl white sedan with bose and navigation @ 138k for 3,700. you can find a good deal if you are patient and willing to maybe drive a few hours away. hope you didnt buy it !

if you offer 2k max for the car then its fine because a new VQ DE engine is around 600-1000 for typically decent mileage

I seen a black saden g35 for 4 grand test drove it and loved its power and get up you just feel good driving it it was sorta rough but the engine ran good it smelled like puppy piss so we decided not to buy it basically the salesman was sketchy as well at the car lot tried to get us to trade in our 2010 Ford fusion for 1700 dollars no thanks bud.😂 tried to hustle us and make payments . Pink for pink might of been little more fair but the ford has gotta be worth atleast 5 gs

If its in nice shape than it could be a good car that could go another 100k miles. Look out for leaking steering rack and any engine lights. Just keep in mind a car like this could break at any time and if a engine or transmission module goes out it could cost $2-$3k to fix. But overall if you are looking at high mileage luxury sedan a G35 is going to be more reliable than a lot of your other choices aside from a Lexus.
