Wife bought a 2017 Renegade Latitude with the 6 speed manual brand new. 4X4. We live in VT, on a rough dirt road. Brutal winters. 60k miles so far and the car has been flawless. No rattles. 34 mpg at 72 mph. Very roomy and comfortable and attractive. So much more appealing than your typical droll Rav4 or CRV.

She's indeed a 9 Speed. I believe it won't let you into 9th gear until over 80mph. That's what has allowed the 3.2 V6 Cherokee to achieve such amazing highway mpg.
