Means a lot to hear that coming from you! If anyone reading this hasn’t checked out their channel, do check it out. There needs to be more custom case makers sharing their work!

@@standupg4m3r thank you! 😊 I mean it, your work is really great and I can really see that you put much effort and thought into the details and you also manage to add a fun little twist to it! Your designs really inspire me and I always learn something new every time I see a new video! You know the old expression «sharing is caring» and I feel like it fits in well here under this topic, we all inspire eachother by sharing our ideas to the public which again turns into new ideas and that’s how we together can evolve and get better! 😊 I’m looking forward to your future projects!

A pc hidden in plain sight / can be use to display for helmet. The intake and exhaust design is brilliant. It lacks the gpu support but i can see it fit in my sim racing setup as a tv pc. Good job on this one

This is why i love 3d Printers, you can make literally everything! Amazing case, i love it! I have a Bambu Lab P1S and i dont like too much to use tree supports, they can save you time and filament for sure, but for big stuff i always keep the normal ones, they are more stable and i dont have to be worried about the printer
@standupg4m3r Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching and sharing the kind words! I bet your Bambu prints like a dream. In my next video I might be showing some better stability in my prints. ;)

Amazing man I might actually try this. I wouldn't mind a more detailed video on best practices with heat inserts. I have them but never had any luck getting them to work like I want them too
@standupg4m3r Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! And please write back when you finish! Regarding the heat inserts, what problem are you facing exactly? Design consideration (CAD) or physical application (melting them in)?

I use tree supports a lot to minimize support contact on my prints.
@standupg4m3r Жыл бұрын
Good point. These supports came super easy and I honestly was dreading removing some of them… especially inside the ducts!

Hey thanks for watching and commenting! And totally agree with you. Now I’m wondering if there are slicers that can do both at the same time?!

that CPU still hitting over 90 C.. 90 C is max recommended temp for longevity, 100C is thermal limit, i prefer around 70C temps. cause it gives good wiggle room and is lower then max recommended.,

Thanks for watching and commenting! My personal system is custom watercooled (IHS removed and Liquid Metal applied) so I think we have the same standards for cooling; but SFFPC calls for those compromises and luckily CPU are way better about thermal throttling than they were like 15 years ago. I could also apply a power limit as well.

What type of filament did you use when printing out the parts?
@standupg4m3r Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! For my PC cases I opt for PETG (I have them linked with color too in my description) for its high heat resistance. You can use ABS as well, but be mindful of fumes and heat fluctuations when you do.

I really like the idea, but the print quality is atrocious. So many holes, divots, sagging bridges and gaping seams... Just sand it a bit. Or paint over it.
@standupg4m3r Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! The files are available for free to download and print. Please share with me when you have sanded, Bondo’d, sanded, primer’d, sanded, primer’d, sanded, painted, sanded, and clear coated! I personally hate painting and sanding.
