I love the cards from the x and y era. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to open a whole lot from that time frame since I didn’t get into collecting cards until a little bit after that but love to see where we came from in regards to the artwork and everything else. Always appreciate you opening a vast variety of different cards from different sets and eras.

Half the reason I started getting back into the TCG a few years ago was to see/collect the art. This era's art was so ace. I keep myself in the dark about most of the sets so that when I treat myself to packs I can get excited to see new works. Super excited for the SV era sets, with how diverse the ingame cast is I have high hopes the card art will be super cool.

Not really. People *hated* XY when it came out. Now they just pretend to like it because the cards are rare and expensive. Just like if Sword & Shield was expensive they’d say it was the “best generation ever!” PokeRev in particular is well known for not appreciating anything until it’s super expensive. Then he loves it.

The detail on the cards now days makes them all the more awesome. My collection of base set and other original sets from my childhood cannot compete with some of the cards they create now. I just hope they age as well as the originals in a collection and value standpoint.

I still have a brand new sealed box of these for when they first came out. I had forgotten I had bought this long ago because I hid it from my siblings in my car. I was cleaning the trunk and saw the box I had forgotten there for years. I don't plan on opening it, never planned on reselling it but it's definetly a thought :)
