My dad had a Volvo in 2005 think was 760 not a estate but that was 2.3 don't think it was a turbo bit slow to get going but when got going it was good comfortable ride had many good trouble free years of driveing that blokes one is a beast and fair play to him good to be different then everyone one else would not mind it my self

My father had Volvo’s since the 70’s , the original Swedish Volvo were great reliable cars , unfortunately original Volvo sold out to ford and now the Chinese own Volvo , not sure they are now based on their original values of safe , strong and really reliable cars.

its probably just because they take the power better, he mentioned that the car had a small gearbox which makes me think it originally had an m47 in it which will not take that amount of power, if it was an m90 he might have been able too keep it because they handle power much better without exploading. Forgot to mention, the m90 is massive compared to the m47, like literally twice the size, atleast in how much chunkier it is.
