If ANYONE buys a vehicle that has such a contract, well, you cant fix stupid. This is just another reason to NOT buy an EV, esp a tesla.

I advise people NOT to buy a Ford as these cars require a lot of regular repairs. Best go for more reliable and durable Japanese cars like Lexus or Toyota. After scrapping my 2014 Ford Focus a few months ago (as it had engine damage as a result of snapped timing belt). I now drive a Lexus NX which is a much better car and so much fun to drive.

If Tesla limits Cybertruck sales to 4 or 5k units do to build restraints, despite having a million potential customers, and you decide to sell yours, you allow one of those million customers to abandon a potential brand new cybertruck sale to Tesla by buying from you. Do you get it now?

Then the original BMW 850i came out, there was a clause in the contract that you couldn’t sell it for 3 years but BMW tech’s told me that they knew one had changed hands 7 times in a month for over twice the price. All this about 2 months before the original customer was taking delivery of it. Unfortunately I don’t know the outcome as I stopped working in that area.
