Can you put the games on an internal drive like a sata ssd? It can make tests more accurate, looks like the usb bandwidth was causing stuttering if it wasn’t the ram.

I usually play games on an external SSD connected via USB and games run fine so I don't think that's an issue.

@@ItsNylrak in this case it might be. The fastest USB ports on this machine are 3.0, which give a theoretical maximum speed equivalent to an internal SATA SSD, which is pretty low compared to the NMVE inside. What's even worse, in the video he's connected to the 2.0 USB port.

I managed to get this laptop for $500.00 a few months back. It's honestly the best laptop I've ever had. It's built really well, it has played every game I've tried even new stuff. The screen is the best looking laptop screen I've ever seen, high resolution with great color saturation. The only downside is the speakers don't get nearly loud enough and the battery doesn't last long enough about an hour and a half to two while doing normal tasks or about an hour while gaming. There is a battery mod out there to get longer battery life but I'm fine with the way it is.

Maybe my battery just sucks. It got a little better after the windows 11 update but not much. I'm glad you're laptops battery last longer. Maybe mine is defective?

Got an Evoo 15.6 with Ryzen 4800 H and RTX 2060 with 16 gigs of RAM and 500 gig SSD. It's a very good laptop but more expensive than this one. I also appreciate that there was no bloatware. The quality of Evoo laptops seems pretty good. I can imagine that this laptop would be good for the right person.

It's fine with the GTX 1650, haven't had any issues with bottlenecking and if there is a bit of bottleneck it's negligible. The main problem with the laptop is the RAM. You're gonna want to upgrade it to at least a 16GB kit.

I also saw the gateway brand made a comeback and hope to snag that laptop. Saw some reviews on it and $400 gave you 16GB memory, 2nd slot for m.2 drive, Ryzen 5, and Radeon Vega Graphics. Plus it's an exclusive though Walmart.

You should try to do a tower pc build from a broken gaming laptop. I did one with an hp pavilion that had a broken screen. Took out the cpu gpu and everything else besides the screen obviously and put it into a wooden chair that I made from just some cheap plywood. Was fun to do and saw some videos on KZbin but I think you'd be able to make a better video out of it!

You're a bit too critical of the ram in my opinion, yeah it's only one stick which is actually better than two 4gb sticks in my opinion, you are losing some performance that you'd have with dual channel but it's perfect for adding another 8gb stick which I think you would at one point if you are the consumer buying this laptop
