16:24 - that's how long jump works - a combination of optimum vertical leap and forward momentum - so if your running speed is not increasing but your vertical leap is ( not the angle but the leap ) then, yes, you will travel further.

EfT is a true masterpiece that slipped so much time from my attention , now i play it and ditched everything else like it was trash, this game is above everything, no doubt.The sheer amount of detail and complexity makes it win agains everything, the gunplay, the graphics, the mechanics, the inventory system is out of this world, Worth every last penny. If you check his description it literally tells you. Although it says it's "outdated" last build listed was 2018 but I don't imagine in a year his build has changed much consider the specs.
