I get quite nostalgic vibes every time I hear the certain descending lick you do. I’m not the best at theory but I know it’s G major. I believe it’s a 4th, 3rd, 1st, 7th, 5th, 4th and 3rd so a C, B, G, F#, D, C and B. It especially hits me when it’s on an E. Piano. I can’t for the life of me figure out where it’s from. Maybe it’s just a typical 80’s or 90’s lick. I do get old Windows computer or Pc vibes as well. But every time I hear you do it I feel a vibe that I haven’t felt in years. You’re an amazing player! Can’t wait to hear more!😊

Many thanks for sharing your thoughts. The downsides I see so far are compact keys (this is a disease nowadays -- Yamaha, Kawai, Casio, all of them switched to compact keys; only Kord and Roland still uses regular size) and possible key noise. I checked some other videos and the noise seems rather loud, I didn't test any of those keyboards live but it reminds me of Kawai ES 110.

WoW! It sure sounds great in my multi-driver earbuds! I need a piano to bring to church sometimes. My old Kawai weights a ton and sounds a bit dated. I use a good quality 400W stereo amp setup and a 400W sub. (Nice with organs) I think this one would work great! I enjoy your videos! Thank you.

I bought a Roland FP - E50 a week ago. This keyboard (the NUX 20) is a little cheaper. Seems like a good comparison to the EP - 50. This one has a really nice LCD screen. The FP 50 has access the Roland cloud, with thousand(S) or more of sounds. This NUX apparently has escapement! like the Roland series. I think comparing the 2 might make a good video?

Thanks for all the incredible work you’ve put into this channel, kudos to you. I’ve watched dozens now trying to decide upon the “right” 61kb for me, one that will engage me long enough to get me down the beginner learning curve and over the inevitable hump. I suspect it’s a mix of things: variety of tones, rhythm, accompaniment, portability, flexibility, all which you cover so well. My question - is there an overall winner based upon your students and experience that engages the student so that she/he is able to make this piano journey as lifelong investment as opposed to expense? Maybe it’s simply “the fun factor”. What key or piano deliver this in your experience? Thank you again and all the best

i don't know - I like people putting their own votes in on the sound. Remember that people thinking about this class of piano are likely beginners that don't yet know passable from good or excellent. And upcoming brands like Nux often lose out on the "non-catalog" areas like sound quality while attracting people with MOAAA sounds or color LCDs. More votes on the sound is a great help.

I've always found the audio of your vids gives a reliable snapshot of what the keyboard can give, so, without considering any pluses or minuses this keyboard may otherwise have, I must agree, the sounds demonstrated were less than impressive. Of course, there will be buyers at this level, who find the overall balance of features are more important than the authenticity of its sampled sounds (and probably aren't prospective piano students) .

I just need the finest key action possible, and want to have a price tag of around 500 usd. In your opinion, is the P125 worth the extra money? Hi Jeremy. I'm a pianist and orchestrator. I've been wanting to het a keyboard to write my orchestration. Let me briefly explain. I use Sibelius Ultimate to write my orchestrations. The software does allow me to plug a keyboard and enter the notes, insteat of using the computer keyboard shortcut to enter the notes. I don't really meet a weighed 88 keys keyboard with instruments and rhythm options. Having said that, a fuller size keyboard with USB will be easier so I don’t have to go to my piano, in a different room, on the first floor, to play and write what the wind, brass, string sections will be playing and how it sounds pit together. Obviously a keyboard next to ke will be much easier. What do you recommend? I saw a video of a white folding piabo with USB. I don’t write music with electronic VST library. I write for performance purpose. Thanks.

Are the main piano sounds of npk2 and npk1 to be played are same tone ? Is there a difference in the feel of the keys action feel on the two pianos? Thanks

Dear Jeremy, greetings from Czechia. I m thinkig about stage piano with arrangers functions. Casio cdp 360, or Korg xe20. This piano is other one. But I have two questions. Is it possible to layer two voices from the same cathegory? For example two organ voices. I have never seen this and what about buttons for styles and rythm on the right sight of piano, it is not ussual. I like your reviews very much and it is very helpful. Great job. Joe
