You aren't wrong, They do have more in common than you'd think. Now i'm not the biggest country fan, for me, mostly metal. But i like a lot of old school country, back when Jennings, Cash, and others were considered outlaws and radio's stopped playing them. But the story telling. For me thats what these genres bring. well at least did. Today's country is pop trash with a twang, and todays hip hop is budawadadadada da, with no meaning. We need more good music. And yea, this is a hit.
