This was Boston’s debut album, which has an interesting backstory. You should look it up on Wikipedia, but the short version is the album was recorded and produced by Tom Scholz and John Boylan in Tom’s basement. Also, Scholz played most of the instruments on nearly all of the tracks on this album. Many people consider this to be the greatest debut album in rock ‘n’ roll history, every song is absolutely fantastic!

Just like butter, silky smooth. I was lucky enough to see them in 79 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas with Sammy Hagar opening. It was a fantastic show and a wonderful memory. Both bands kicked ass and took names.

Yes! This is one of Brad Delps many songs for Boston with his out of this world voice! .. no one like him! .. the 'spaceship' theme sci fi was on this first and the ones after!.. great artwork!..

Boston, would not have come together without the two people who came together and created this amazing band. Don't get me wrong, the entire band were exceptional!! Tom S & Brad D. Brad's vocals CANNOT be matched bottomline and Tom's guitar masterpiece sounds unmatched! I'll suggest their Second Album, "Third Stage" didn't get the accolades that their first album brought. But come on, I mean, The Greatest Album of All Time, seriously what were they expecting? Well the record label put some major pressure on Boston to get another album out ASAP! Long after Boston went bust, Tom hiding in his basement fighting the bands legal woes, the rest of the band just trying to keep their music alive, was disastrous!! Brad Delp killed himself, everyone else went their own way. Then like magic, Boston's Third Stage Album exploded!! If you want to hear Brads vocals, go to Utube and bring up Brad Delp singing live Their song: TO BE A MAN...I loved their second album as soon as I listened, then bought the cassette.

This is the last track on their debut album. Every song on that album is great, but IMHO this is weakest. That's not to say that I don't like this song, but it indicates just how fantastic the other 7 songs are. BTW, all of the vocals, both lead & background/harmonies, were performed by one man, Brad Delp (R.I.P.). Your mind will be blown if you listen to this whole album (self-tltled, "Boston").
