I strongly recommend watching these as they premiere. The live chats with Matt and Andy are just as funny as the videos. Great explore yet again guys. Like I said, if Bear does not get his own channel 'Bears Beeper Bits' or 'Finders Beepers rat and cat seekers', I’m unsubscribing in protest lolz.

Now I love Matt, Andy, AND Bear. That cat running past Andy was hilarious. It even scared me!! You guys are great. Once again a lot of interesting things that will eventually just be ruined. What a shame that it would be “stealing” when apparently no one that lived there cares about what happens to those things. Again, I thank you Matt and Andy and Bear for the entertainment along the way!! Much love. I’m addicted yo watching you all!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Oh my Gawd Matt!!! You even made me nervous when you sat on the edge of that well and leaned forward!!! Did you ever think that the bricks could give way underneath you causing you to fall down that well?? The bricks looked good, and in this case they were, but they could have looked fine but been crumbling and your weight on top could have caused them to crumble causing you to fall! I’m sooo glad nothing did happen!!🥰

The odd stair going to the cellar is called a "burglar step" it was meant to make anyone who wasn't meant to be there in the dark would fall down the stairs! You mentioned dead cats and when this house was built they would bury a dead cat in the foundation near the front door to ward off evil spirits..

Amazing lads. I've seen this place 3 or 5 times. Samandjess, Hell on Earth and others have done it but your explore was by far the best. You found some cracking stuff while the others just seem to steamroll over the lot of it. I watched from start to finish unlike the others. Keep up the good work....and well done Bear. King George VI was Prince Albert known as Bertie by his family and wife. He chose to take the name King George VI in honour of his father King George V his older brother Prince Edward the Prince of Wales was known as David by his friends and family and Andy is correct Edward became the uncrowned King Edward VIII who abdicated so he could marry Wallis Simpson. This was a great video what a shame this place hasn’t been bought and restored because I bet in its day it was just beautiful. Thank you for another great video xx

Dierc Bouts Only a century after his death, a University of Louvain professor hailed Dieric Bouts as the "famous inventor in depicting the countryside." Born in Haarlem, Bouts worked mostly in Louvain, where he became city painter in 1468 and married a woman from a wealthy Louvain family. He eventually established a large workshop that employed his two sons. Bouts painted a range of subjects in a style characterized by elongated, calm, reflective figures; rich, controlled colors; and dignified, understated emotion. Like most Netherlandish painters of his time, Bouts made his innovations through religious subjects, from altarpieces to small devotional paintings that people kept in their homes. He was deeply influenced by Rogier van der Weyden, but where Rogier's portraits overwhelm with their beauty and expressive design, Bouts depicted Everyman. His style and investigations of new ways to establish depth in painting greatly influenced contemporary Netherlandish painters. His more homespun portraits and refreshing landscapes also appealed to artists at the end of the century.

That was a really amazing old house! I really enjoyed watching this video. It’s strange how so often there are big houses but inside they’re tiny because rather than having fewer rooms they have too many tiny small cramped rooms! It was fun watching 🐻 Bear 🐶 enjoy himself with his own search and tour of the place. I honestly thought he died or the cat had killed him after the face off because he wouldn’t come out or even make a sound!! That was an enormous 🐈 cat!! Now you’ve got to give 🐶 Bear 🐻 a bath because he rolled in that 💩 in the basement! Thanks for sharing this very entertaining video! Cheers guys!

The last time Matt dropped something into the well, and had that really delayed landing, was crazy. I estimated that there was 16 seconds between the time Matt released the item and when you hear the final sound. That would mean it fell 512 feet (156 meters). That's an impossibly long drop and the true depth is likely much shallower. But it is fun to imagine a crazy deep well inside some spooky abandoned estate. An estate full of priceless art and giant ginger cats that poop giant fuzzy poo-balls! (I do feel bad for that poor cat. He's cozy in his rubbish cave and along comes some strange pooch diving in head first! Serves Bear right getting stuck in there, barging in like he owned the joint!)

On one of the letters you mentioned Birkenhead that’s where I’m living now it’s on the Wirral Merseyside So digging deeper found this Horace Brimson Trevor-Cox (14 June 1908 - 30 October 2005), born Horace Brimson Trevor Cox, was a British farmer, landowner and politician who served from 1937 to 1945 as a Conservative Member of Parliament (MP), but left the Conservatives in the 1960s and subsequently joined the Labour Party. Born in Birkenhead and brought up near Chester, his father (also named Horace Cox) was a successful businessman. Cox was educated at Eton College, where he was a good friend of his contemporary Quintin Hogg, later Lord Hailsham. He then studied in Germany at Leibniz University Hannover, and worked in factories in Berlin before leaving Germany in 1929 to study business studies in the United States at the University of Cincinnati.

That was fun to see, thanks!. I did yell out when Bear chased the cat out from under the pile of junk- thought he had found a fat groundhog. My Son had to come down from upstairs and see what all the commotion was about! And, was also worried your dog was going to take an impulsive leap down the hugely deep and scary well before it was closed over again. That was a really cool and interesting timber frame room! I'm getting the feeling that the owner was Poor in his Old Age and was trying to sell Family heirlooms like the Tapestry, etc.. and was trying to get his tapestry Provenance documented- for a higher Market price. The maintenance on a huge Old house has to be very costly, but I would hope most people would sell their sheep rather than leave them without care and feed to starve - how sad. He may have had mental issues as well if that was going on. BTW I am always amazed at how many of these abandoned houses and buildings have been used as Grow Operations for Pot (not this one but previous). Take care- no more well-edge -sitting, OK (especially on bricks that are crumbling and hundreds of years old)!!!
