@@Veeooom I'm not saying that it's good writing, I'm saying it's making the story unpredictable, it's like a horror story, but you don't know that it's actually a horror story. And the new trilogy is just like watching an action movie, not only does it just follow the original trilogy, just changing the countries, but it's just boring. I've played countless games over the years, and these games have to be one of the worst stories I've seen, they don't create new stuff, they just copy old things and call it a day. For some people the rebooted trilogy is good, but for me, it's just bad, I like a semi-realistic story which the original story was, I don't like this new story where everyone is a war hero and villains are like the gargamel.

One thing I always found really odd in the favela mission is how Meat sometimes spawns in as a black or white person depending on your playthrough of the mission. And none of the two different character models show up in multiplayer. They are unique to that mission specifically

The Gears of War games all have a story and highest difficulty option just like CoD with achievements/trophies to go with the challenge. I grew up playing these games (specifically the first 3, but the rest are still good) and I think it would be a lot of fun to see you work your way through them.
