@@bj124u14 I can't forget that, I ended up in the ER once thinking I couldn't breathe and that it must be a problem with my lungs. I didn't know anything about anxiety at the time. The ER people said the numb belly and tingling in my hands was from oxygen oversaturation, and that I need to stop hyperventilating. The paper bag they gave me pissed me off and I threw it after trying it. This led to my first introduction to anti-anxiety pills. Took Lorazepam for several years before I replaced it with marijuana, because I hated that I could still feel the panic under the drug. I prefer the distraction of a smokescreen these days, even if it's inconvenient. I'll eat either CBD and THC when it is. Other than that, I learned to use the same trick I use with PTSD, and ground myself in the current reality with breathing techniques. Having this problem belittled like mine was is almost as bad as making it out to be a bigger issue, like saying our screws have loosened. Simply am Dysfunctional.

Panic or anxiety attacks shouldn't be labeled as "crazy" I get them all the time. I saw my abuser last year at Walmart, I went to the hospital thinking I had a heart attack. Those things are very scary to go through. The worst is when I'm out in public and I don't want to cause a scene due to my panic attacks.
