@dkemil2 ай бұрын
@@supraguy4694 Training these models require a lot of energy, making clips like these does not. but if everyone makes clips like these then it of course weights up, just like millions of people using Chatgpt also weighs up. The models however also get more efficient to run over time as the technology advances, and i think ChatGPT 4o has already come a long way in terms of that, which is also how the company can offer it for free. Bitcoin mining also gets more efficient over time but maybe not as much, however, bitcoin is usually mined where it's cost efficient, meaning where there's an abundance of renewable energy that can't be transferred to the rest of the world, for example on volcano islands. Cryptocurrency pollutes less than all of tradition banking.

This has to be written by AI. I refuse to believe that an editor looked at this script and changed nothing. Two strangers meet on a train to Paris, and fall in love is your first draft of a romance story. That isn't your romance story, or that SHOULDN'T be. No confliction, no romantic rivals, no backstories on either leads. Its kinda wild that they forgot the most important part about romance movies: they're character dramas. The audience needs to LIKE and sympathize with the leads so that we look forward to their journey. If your leads are: generically attractive man is mysterious and generically attractive woman is indecisive, you have failed. You're making a saltine cracker of a movie. That is not a compelling love story. I can believe that the plot is AI because it sounds so unbearably generic as a story. This wouldn’t even pass the tumblr test.

@@bentramer682 That is correct, actual socialist economies have done even worse. But the erosion of freedoms is not due to capitalism, it is due to authoritarian or "collectivist" thinking, i.e. allowing your government (in collusion with big companies) to dictate what you should or should not buy, and also to violently take away your money and spend it as they like rather than as you would like. In that setup you don't really decide whether you support a big company or not, the big company gets a subsidy from your government. I suggest looking up some of the articles about how they made the recent Air Head short film to promote open AI's new Sora video generation thing. Basically it involved generating a huge amount of footage (using a huge amount of time and computing power) and then editing it together into something coherent, more like a documentary than a narrative film. You couldn't come up with a less efficient way to make a film if you tried. Visually this looks much more primitive than Air Head. Currently there are people using stable diffusion to generate very short animations (like 3 second loops, with quality rapidly falling off the longer they get), and this looks like they've just decided to piece together that sort of generation to make a feature length film. This stuff is so obviously not ready to make an actual film that the most likely scenario is that this is a borderline scam to cash in on the AI buzzword craze.

What was that one animated film where like the characters where using some masks that made them look like some one different every few seconds or was that a dream I had?

AI and people who can't make art without AI have the same level of creativity (none) so it makes sense why an AI movie looks like this.

I love how the characters stare directly into the camera. The first thing they teach any film actor is to not look straight into the camera.

I think the sad part is that the people who are making these AI movies basically just want to produce something with the least amount of effort. I feel like with how uncanny and strange looking these movies can be, a more creative person could use this medium to make an incredibly unique experience you couldn't make with human artists. Its like when more studios started making stylized 3D movies rather than hyper realistic ones. I feel like there's something here that could be tapped into that unfortunately wont get explored.

Yeah, we're not there yet. I'll be a few more years before this is palatable.

Okay after doing some googling, it's just the images that are ai. The script and the Voice Actors aren't ai. Which honestly at that point, you might as well make everything in the movie ai.
