This album is the definition of a grower, it gets better with every listen. Definite top 5 for the year thus far and probably for the remainder of 2023. Insanely good record, I honestly can't figure out how they keep doing that with each and every record they've put out in the past 15 years.

Travis said it in a podcast interview he did, when they recorded Monolith they wanted to record an album they can perform live without sounding to different, and Travis wanted to explore a bit more too. Also their new producer who's name I can't remember is really good.

I got 'introduced' to cattle by Ben of Shadow of Intent. He had a playlist on Spotify with his top 2023 Albums and since I knew he loves Cattle I gave it a listen and now this record is my favorite record of 2023, one of my favorite records of all time and I also practice my vocals with 3 songs off of that record.

Travis Ryan has become my favorite vocalist pretty quickly. He’s got incredible range and variety in sounds but also the base techniques he’s using, super multifaceted. And yeah if any band deserves to have an overblown ego it’s Cattle Decap, they’re at the top right now.

The Closing Track Was AMAZING. As i said in twitch chat. Death Atlas and This is My Favorite Cattle Decap Album. And i feel what one person was saying, this does feel like a Final Album. Kinda Like Deaths Symbolic With Perennial Quest. Felt like a Sad and Satisfying Closer to not just an Album, But Death As a Whole. But, We Know What came next. This Album Is SOOO DAMN GOOD.
