I’m laughing at myself because I’m screaming answers to some of the questions you are asking each other as if you could both hear me 🤣🤣 Charles and Di were married in 1981 and William is 40 this month. The Silver Cross high chair also turned into a chair and table. Yet another great video ❤️💙 Purley is down South near Croydon. Happy memories of yesteryear's ❤️ I miss Florise, Grandaddy an Noni (great grandparents on mom's, mom an dad side) Nana an Papa. Grandma Josephine (Dad's mom)--- sorry for the crazy useless information on my family tree. But once they were gone I could feel the family change, not connected to each other once the matriarchs passed.

That tank/vivarium looked like it had either a dead snake or a shed skin in it. Did anyone else see that too? I think the brown leather case that was on the gun case is one for a pair of binoculars. I've seen them before. The card game is Happy Families, yes, you're right! But maybe this was a Marks & Spencer version (whit the St Michael branding on the box)? It was quite an amazing house wasn't it? Like you both said, it's such a shame it was trashed though. Some people have no respect for other people's things whether or not they're coming back to the place they lived in. All that family history, the photos, the slides, the certifcates and awards...so much history. Thank you both for another great video (even though there were the creepy whispers/shouts outside).

Hi guys! Another great one from you. The number plate is British from 1965! Yes, I do remember them as my dad bought a C Reg Ford Cortina as his first car when he passed his test in 1969! Charles and Diana were married in 1981. The Prince of Wales referred to in your video was Edward who ascended to the throne as Edward 8th. Luv you guys!

It’s great looking around all these abandoned properties, but all the paperwork and certificates and photos are so important. We find out about the owners of the home. Your telling their story. In those days people were so brave and courageous. Going to war when you’re a teenager is just heroic. I couldn’t imagine my son at twenty being sent to France and fighting in the trenches. Well, you didn’t fight you were just a moving target for someone to shoot at. These are the people that should have been given honours by the Queen, not celebrities. It seems sad that they lived alone in their twilight years, and no one knew what they did in their life. So, so sad 😭. I’m hoping these owners are resting in peace.

Great explore guys! I loved the photos and scrapbook. What a time they must have had traveling! I have my great grams scrapbook, which looks very similar to the one you found with all the greeting cards and letters glued in it. She lived in West Yorkshire and born in late 1880s, so scrapbooking must have been the thing to do for housewives at the time.

Purely is in Surrey lads, love it when you do little cottage type places but so sad that loons have to go in and feel the need to rifle through stuff and trash the place, so many family memories in those photos, I wonder why the kids who surely might still be alive havnt gone in and taken them to keep safe, so sad that theyr just lying around waiting to rot. The reg plate is from a 1965 red Morris. First registered in October 1965. Logbook was last issued 19 Feb 1990.

The fact that there is so much personal stuff (bed linen, family photos, last will & testament …etc) still in the house suggests the residents may have left in a hurry or fled with some urgency rather than packing their belongings and moving homes. I find it a little sad when childhood family photos are discarded, they’re a window to your personal history, memories of an historic, never to return again time long past. Never throw a photo away, it may have a deeper meaning for you tomorrow.

This number plate belonged to a car from 1965. The 3 letters followed by 1 to 3 numbers and a single letter format started in 1963 with A being 1963 B 64 etc. The DK is the “area identifier” so this plate was from Rochdale….that is where my mum was born and bred! I’ve tried to Google DVLA to see what car it belonged to but there are no records. Maybe there is an old log book in the house. Still it gives you a bit on info x Middlesbrough is 40 mikes from York so in North Yorkshire but it’s classified in the Teesside remit so that’s why they sound a bit “Y aye lyke”

The big eagle is at the german border at the Zugspitze. . It says Bundesrepublik Deutschland 🦅 Garmisch Partenkirchen is not far away from the Mountain Zugspitze. Maybe they were on holiday or even stationed in Germany?

The Navy and Army had similar campaigns and special fundraising weeks would be held for each of the armed services. If we totalled up the amounts raised in today’s money, it would stretch into the billions, all raised by small groups like Parkside on the certificate you found. A little bit of precious history. 😊
