As a part of the Baron's Brigade I feel it is my duty to help in this fight to keep guns up from being deleted. I have a lot of memories of watching Baron play guns up on long trips or any time I wanted to watch a strategy game that I knew would entertain me. When the news came that Guns up was being deleted I was sad, but then Baron fought to keep from being deleted. I supported that very much and now this second video came out I am even more exited to know that the people from guns up are seeing what we as a community say, that we are being heard and that we have a good chance of keeping guns up from being deleted. Baron you are the one that showed me this game I'm playing the mobile version 5 months ago and I loved it I thank you for showing me this. The most annoying defense is the mortar the annoying units are riot, toxic, and gunner. All these tips are going to everyone who reads these.

about 3 years ago ive been introduced to this game by one of my favorite youtubers (baron duh)and it was such a great game but i just couldn't play it i had no steam account. only later like a year would i be able to play this masterpiece yet that account had been hacked and taken over. till now i have made a new account but it is hard to level up from the overleveled bases made from the million gold and billion munitions they'd been given by the creators as a 'thanks'.but may this game rest in peace as it changes into a mobile game.

W, honestly sad to see this game shutting down in december 2023, really do hope they decide to continue the game instead of shutting it down or at least extending the deadline for a few more months, I remember playing the mobile version of this and it was honestly genuine fun and made me think on how to improve the defense of my base, albeit there were already metas in place at the time of the game I didn't use any of them.

Baron the best way to deal with mortars is a small amount of rocketeers and Rangers or bombadeers then focus fire on it when the mortar fires. The the best way to keep your men alive is to have both the roit and the bounty hunter in your loadout they keep most of your special men alive especially your veterans.

I remember optimizing the everloving ** out of my defense in the mobile game, setting up my base so it perfectly led enemies into a single killbox where I spaced everything out just barely enough so you couldn't hit more then one thing with a missile, but still have everything capable of sending fire directly into the bulk of the enemy advance as well as the flanks should they tear down the walls In a rank/game where defense was hardly practical, that base seldom let anyone through.

My uncle introduced me to guns up and I eventually found your channel way back in 2016. I binged your channel and played the game so much. I didn’t own a console at the time so when my uncle would come and visit us for the holidays it was pretty much the only thing I did during the down time. Me and my uncle really bonded over the game, we talked about strategies and optimization of the troops. Guns Up was my favorite game ever when I was younger. And then you know life happened and each year I got more and more busy I changed my preferences. Just growing up. I tried to go back to the game a bit ago as I got back into gaming, but I couldn’t get into Guns Up and I just thought it was my internet. Only today I learned that it was shut down. It sucks that we have lost such an amazing game but can’t blame them the game really hasn’t been active in a while.

This game was great back in the day, but once you get to a certain level it becomes less fun because all the bases start to follow meta-layouts. It's a simple game when you think about it, but the unit animations are top notch and really help to pull you into the battles that no other game of this type comes close to matching.

Baron there is a demo for a game called "all quiet in the trenches" its a ww1 game in which you lead a squad of 6 German soldiers "your actions will not effect the war but they will effect the lives of your men" you need to chose between the lives of your troops (all of which have their own families and stories) or your prestiege with the commander

Sorry Baron, I enjoyed playing Guns Up too but there's a critical flaw that ruined the game. The level of difficulty of enemy bases after you won a few attacks scaled up way too fast. This might not seem like a big deal but it meant that you could not continue to play because you had no chance of ever doing anything as a low-level player against high-level bases. So one bad decision in the core game elements totally ruined the game for me and probably caused people to stop playing in large numbers.

Quick word for baron you can spend to get rally up flag in card thing for 5000 munition but you need to spend it until you got three and thousand munition in game but depends what skull you on
