Dauvo, I can’t imagine taking these homes on, they look like they will crumble..my gosh lots of work..congrats to who ever has the vision..

These houses were abandoned decades ago. If they don't sell them for 1 Euro (i.e. give them away) they will collapse and be lost forever. It will take a lot of patience and a big wallet to bring these places back. Thank you DauvO for promoting them. Maybe thanks to you a house or two will be saved.

The 2nd house has potential for sure if you have time and patience! With the first house - if you are not getting the basement level, then how can you ensure that the building will have strong enough foundations?? I'd be worried. Also, it doesn't look like the basement has been used for a very long time!!
@DauvO3 жыл бұрын
I'm in agreement with you there. I did however just offer on a property where the foundation is actually another owners property. So I guess we'll see how that goes!

Unless there was an option to purchase the basement, I’d have to pass on the first structure. The design of the front doors, garden and characterful nature of the second home made it appealing to me. I don’t know if any structural inspections are done prior to inclusion of a property into the 1€ program or if it is strictly ‘as is’. As with my own purchase I’d have to get an inspection of the structural integrity before taking the plunge. Great potential though! I’d likely use the property both personally and as a holiday rental.

The house i offered on has a that situation where the basement is not part of the property for at least a portion. Hoping to strike a deal for the missing pieces

If they offered it with the garage it would be a great Reno, because you would have everything including a parking space which is rare in Sambuca

@tinedi12 жыл бұрын
Hi there. If I’m not wrong you would buy the house for 1€ but you have a limit of time to finish it. It is a great idea but you need to invest a lot of time and money and if you have to deal with the Italian administration than you will need a lot of patience as well.

Can you go back to number 9 and show the rest of the property the rest of the rooms in the other homes that are connected and see whether the one next to it with the prison light door in front is still for sale? I'm looking to buy it for a home for my family for 1 of them and the others with the big backyard would be an airbnb or a boutique hotel... I may have the means necessary to withere is to restore it to its original condition and repurpose some of the areas for Something even more beautiful and I love the stone and I would never get rid of it! It is stunningly beautiful and exactly what I've been looking for :) it is number 9 thank you
