Oh by the way, not only the file sizes are smaller than anything from Lottie, their rendering engine is killer. They also removed the "Made by Rive"" logo at the bottom of the canvas when you are importing your .riv file 👍 Happy holidays everyone

I gave up at 4 minutes, for osmeone who has never done this, this short explanation is way to hard. The UI is also different now in Rive, but could be nice if next was like 20 minutes, where you take it more slow and acutally show where to press,, cuz my bones does not behave as you can therefor i cant do the stuff you can for the first animation play. I have this on my 65 QLED TV and sit really close, yet its too hard to do it correctly

You must be kidding. It may be a good tool for animation creators but seems messy and complicated tool for a web developer. What is a job of a web developer? Create such things or create a website? Things like Lottie are far better. I was into the video for 5 minutes and went Sigh! It will not change web development, it may change animation artifact creation.

@botwhipified182811 ай бұрын
@@truthteachers Are you competing with jobs in top industries? If yes, then you would know that to even be considered to be hired they'll look at your portfolio for all development, motion design, layout and branding. They don't care what is your field out of those, they'll want to see the full thing. So yeah, good to know tools to help for anything needed nowadays.
@truthteachers11 ай бұрын
@@botwhipified1828 I agree. I am an employer and consultant in the IT field over 45 years. If i interview a person who knows ABOUT everything and masters nothing, I would kick him out. If the guy can do wonderful animation just using fundamental css and js, i would take him in and kick the fool who thinks about future tech. I need producers not scientists. So if you are seeking a job then understand from views of a person who has employed hundreds of staff and sacked tens as well.
