There's something someone posted that made me cry even more. So uh...don't read ahead unless you want to be sad. 1. Something you picked up on, when Ai's life is flashing before her eyes, we don't see anything from before the birth of Aqua and Ruby. Ai's life started with them. 2. Ruby and Aqua were watching their mom's funeral from inside a car to avoid controversy. 3. The president had two glasses at the bar, because he was going to share a drink with Ai when she turned 20. Still had a glass ready for her while grieving. 4. Even though she was bleeding out, and likely in immense pain, she threw herself against the door so Ruby wouldn't see what happened, and spoke calmly the entire time.

That isn't what this is at all, though. Giving someone some advance warning that there's going to be content ahead in a show that they might find difficult to watch through isn't any more of a spoiler than a content warning or helpline screen many shows have before episodes that cover similar things to episode 6. Those screens are put there for a reason and likewise, Greylurker was acting with the same intent. They didn't spoil anything unless you also class the genre tags of a show to be spoilers too.

Kinda but because she's still a kid with little idea about sexual innuendos I'd give her a pass. She has romantic concepts at most by being eleven with her interactions with the doctor but nothing more. If you dealt with kids at all they do some things that can count as sexual innuendos to adults but you shrug it off cuz they don't know any better. Saw a kid squeeze their dad's balls once and they said "Haha, you have a penis!". Ruby is a bit smarter than that but I don't think she has the concept of foreplay and gender flexibility to make the connection that her breastfeeding can be seen any more than that. Plus, if I were to be reborn I would also try to ask to be breastfed because of all the health problems I've gotten from being fed the wrong formula.

I finally got my best friend reacts to the first episode of Oshi no Ko, he is a professional nurse for a decade now but he isn't the type to watch Anime with a slice of life content rather something more of a mainstream audience type of Anime fan. But he gave the episode 1 a try. He said during the part where Aqua looks at his mother (Ai) in shock while the camera pans over the face of her with the eyes went totally black is the most realistic death scene he has seen in an Anime ever illustrated by an Artist. He and his wife (both nurses) seen a lot of deaths in their entire career (especially as their lives fade away) so him giving his feedback on that scene was really educational. NGL though his shocked reaction locked his face on the screen, on that infamous scene in Episode 1 was when I saw him with tears on his eyes. Him and his little brother lost their mother on a young age, he went to depression and it didn't help that their relationship with their father was not pretty well either. But I'm glad he found his better half and has been living a stable life now. Still we miss his mother a lot - their house remained so quiet for decades since she's been gone.

1:20:00 To be fair, Japanese people extremely rarely say "aishiteru" or "I love you" _even_ to their children. "Ai", "love", is a very heavy word. Just incase it wasn't brought up in the comments yet I'd like to point out that in Japan and several other countries the legal age of consent is 16. Japan has been working on raising it to 18 but unless I've missed it they haven't yet. However several prefectures have raised it to 18. so as far a national law in Japan goes 16 is legal. But some of the prefectural governments have raised it to 18 or at least encourage waiting till then. So by legal standards the doctor wasn't actually a creeper and given that it's been normal over there for God knows how long it's unfair to judge him for it. Hell if I recall correctly it was legal for 13 year Olds to be in relationships with both parties parents permission though I'm pretty sure that's no longer the case. Point is even if he was actually interested in Ai in a sexual way by national law he's in the clear as long as it's consensual. But he honestly didn't seem to be interested in her in that way.

Random baby fact: The walkers they're in at 39:12 are actually banned in Canada, not just to manufacture but even to import. Harnesses like that have been found to have a significant negative impact on muscle development and delays in locomotion due to the fact that the baby isn't actually engaging their full body to move. Furthermore, there's greater incidence of them hurting themselves due to the walker giving them greater mobility than they're ready for. Think of how much trouble a baby just learning to walk and crawl can get into, now imagine a significantly younger baby being gifted that kind of mobility.

As a distraction from the pain, one thing you touched on that I don't see get talked about enough is how the director talks to Aqua. Kids in general really appreciate being treated like adults, or at least like they're not stupid. The director saw that this random toddler seemed pretty smart and could talk well, and decided to speak to him as an equal instead of dumbing things down or ignoring him, trusting that he could keep up, and explaining anything he didn't put together on his own. Obviously the fact that Aqua's actually an adult is a thing, but had that been a real child, they would have felt so validated and respected to be interacting with someone who didn't see them as an idiot.

Hearing how hard you're fighting against cancer made me tear up. I hope for nothing but the best for you going forward.

So sorry for what you've been through, nobody should have to face any of that. Also this show does give so many reality checks that have made me too remember and rethink about some messed up things that have happened to me in the past. I hope all the best to you!

I’m pretty sure we just like seeing people break down ….it’s definitely not because we also cried a river

Loving the reaction, I subscribed because of your Jojo reactions and Oshi No Ko was one I was waiting for. Also here's some info: the writers never meant for the relationship between the doctor (Gorou) and Ai to be romanticized or sexual in any way, it was always just an admiring fan and idol relationship. He truly is a good guy and doesn't wanna do anything weird to AI,. Though I guess some peple may look at it that way., which is to be expected, especially from a western viewpoint.

Hey. I just found your video. I have to say, hearing u say you have cancer really made me empathise. Not that I have it, but Ive lost some family to it. I hope you can overcome this hurdle. Much love and best of wishes for a speedy recovery.

This is the first video I've stumbled on for your channel, and Alicia I hope you win your fight. Thank you for being open and vulnerable about your struggles.

I don't really watch the Oshi No Ko anime episodes because I read the manga and I don't like Oshi No Ko enough to re experience the story BUT I do like your enthusiastic and interactive style of reactions so I'll watch your reactions just for those elements. Great reactions by the way keep it up, easily the fastest I ever subscribed to a channel in the last few years.

Oshi no Ko FINALLY!! When I saw Oshi no Ko pop-up on the bottom of the screen in previous reactions for the first time I audibly went "OHHH NOOOO 'OSHI NO KO!?!?' " considering it's Alicia Now if only my School Website would work so I can submit my stuff first so I can watch this

Jesus, I had no idea how horrible it was for you. Your experience made me rethink how I should interact with celebrities I adore if I ever had the chance to. If anything, I really respect you for being real tough and keeping up the fight despite the awful stuff you've gone and are going through. I'll keep supporting (well I can't Patreon because I am broke beyond compare but who cares) and will surely be there to hear your triumph.
