Just wanna say, it was edited out of the video but there was another player who was queueing into the same games and was trying to cooperate with boom and kandy to track down the cheaters. He was banned just hours after this footage was recorded. It has been three days since when this footage was recorded. The cheaters are still unbanned and have games as recent as six hours prior to this comment. Edit: It's been four days since this footage was recorded. The cheaters are still farming and have not yet been banned.

3:42 the reason for it as far as I can tell is that that line has to be drawn somewhere, and as soon as you do cheaters will quickly find out exactly where it is and cheat just under it. 100:1 headshots is insta ban, get ready for 99:1 aimbot. 30 consecutive wins is the line? People will farm 29 games and lose. Part of the strategy that most games use is to have ban wave to help obfuscate what they can detect. If players get instantly banned they can figure out that line much more quickly.

You're not entirely wrong, but server side anti-cheats should do a lot more than just see if they hit 100 consecutive headshots. For example, that cheat where they have aimbot and their bullets can just curve in any direction. That could easily be stopped by a server side anti-cheat just by making it so the if the client says that they shot someone out of a small specific margin of directly in front of their view when they shot, then the server should either flag or kick them depending on how deviant the shots are. And there's so much more stuff that they could also add to stop that specific cheat, and many others, but unfortunately EA / Respawn is just money greedy and can't be bothered spending money on developing that serer side anti-cheat + also getting better servers and fixing their game etc. As long as people keep buying all their skins and shit, they're never gonna fix their game.

and also if you set the line low enough, then it ends up stopping nearly all of the insane crazy cheats, like perfect aimbot headshots, and that one where they can just fly across the map. So you may still have cheaters who have figured out how to bypass the better anti-cheat, BUT, they would have way way weaker cheats, probably only stuff like walling that isn't really that easy to stop with server-side anti cheats, and soft aim. And so by doing this, you can stop a majority of the cheaters, which also allows the anticheat team to review more of the soft aim and weak cheaters, and possibly get them banned as well, overall getting rid of nearly all cheats.

Teams that are in the same lobby consecutive times would be like a weight of 1, then add more points based on proximity to the same teams each game, hs:bodyshot ratio, discrepancies of rank, list goes on and on, until some number like 21 points is hit, and you can almost assume its purpose is illegitimate without manual intervention.

Cheaters can do a lot of things. They can put literal AI in games (mostly mixtape) to level them up for ranked so that they can cheat to get to masters/pred, ect. Then they sell the accounts to people. Like the cheaters don’t even have to play the game. They just spawn the AI in a mixtape game and if they get shot at they will instantly lock on and kill you, but if you don’t shoot at them at all they won’t even move. It’s bizarre so I’m kinda glad I still play on console 🤣 apart from the 6 manning stuff in ranked, luckily I haven’t seen that yet.

even if it did flag the account, someone then needs to manually review the case, and these matches take ten minutes, and then add thousands of cheaters and then you have hundreds of thousands of files to manually review even if it only takes 30 seconds, it adds up and each one you review another 40 are added, anti cheats only detect and ban on software/hardware that is "already known", many privatized cheats don't flag the anti cheat and the devs don't know how they exec their program so it remains undetected/manual ban for X period of time, and by the time you manually ban the dude, he is already back on another account within a few minutes, its never ending.

Hideouts should've been fired the moment he started fratinizing with "pros". It's a conflict of interest. Shit he's the one who white-listed Zaine when it ended up being Zaine is now highly suspected of cheating and has MIA since those videos came out. The developers should put all cheats as an in game toggle enabled setting. Then put the players who choose to enable these in a seperate lobby (lets call it potatoe lobby). Then use ai to learn the play pattern from all such players. Then use the ai to detectect any players having extremely similar play pattern in fair lobbies. Some servers just have Really really low populations and thats where most cheaters reside. Boom only found em bc they were trying to find the Sweatiest ranked servers an came across this one.
