Rob McEwen, Executive Chairman of McEwen Mining, and Michelle Makori, Lead Anchor and Editor-in-Chief at Kitco News, discus how the devaluation of fiat currencies could push gold to $5k per ounce by 2027, and another metal will gain by 1,000%. McEwen also discusses his copper mine's deal with automaker Stellantis and multinational mining company Rio Tinto, as well as his outlook for copper, which he claimed with be a crucial metal as the world hastens towards electrification. I am glad Mr McEwen mentioned royalties. A company that can make it without royalties on it is much more attractive to the investor in my opinion. Also this interview is one of the best yet. It has everything, educational, intellectual and entertaining. There will never be a replacement for human interaction. Mr. McEwen is a true gentleman. I like the way he handled his explanation of copper supply and new mines when Michelle didn't grasp it the first time.

It’s a fake rally, very low volume. We’re in for a drop about 15-18%, once that drop is finished, we will then have one of the greatest short squeezes you’ve ever seen. Not a 2008 drop, not yet at least, the big crash is going to come later, possibly may come when the fed pivots, which they are not even close to pivoting yet.

We in India buy and accumulate Gold and silver forever. And we never sell. With the arrival of an alternate currency it will be good to see India accelerating. Mind you, that while countries may have huge reserves when it comes at a per capita personal accumulation, India is way ahead with gold silver reserves

They need someone like “the science guy.“ Who comes in and demonstrates to people how fascinating, geology, minerals and commodities really are in bringing about the rare and unique lifestyles, that we all dream of. When it becomes an exciting, environmental movement of its own, this problem Rob mentions will be solved. I am an old hippie. A buddy of mine is a musician and old hippie too. And he has been mining geologist for decades, despite being an old hippie musician. And a damn good musician at that. My point? It’s freaking interesting. If you can help people understand just how much of an every day part of their life it all is. Few things are closer to their fingertips, and each and everyone of their senses, every minute of every day of their lives than the things that come out of the ground they touch every day…nearly every minute.

I think the 2500 estimate by a lot of people is conservative, but 5K? I guess we shall see. I definitely see copper reaching new highs inside a year or two. Silver? As he said. It tends to follow gold. But it's worth noting that the ratio tends to widen and widen. I think a ratio tighter than 45/1 maybe a pipe dream. But, these are unprecedented times. Could be the breakout some have been dreaming of for years lol I'd be pretty happy with stability over $28.

Depends upon how BRICS+ decides to set up their world trading system. If it requires nations to have currency backed by gold, as it was before 1971, then $5k could easily be reached.

Yes, the average gap has widened, but when gold and silver run up, silver moves significantly faster than gold. If gold runs to $5000 within 4-5 years, I would expect silver to run up and be at a 30/1 ratio during the run-up. That would bring silver to $165 or so.

I'm bullish on gold over the next few years. However, as a long-term gold and silver stacker, I'm not delusional enough to believe that silver will eclipse the $25-30 level. The gold-to-silver gulf will continue to widen. Wouldn't be shocked to see $3,000/oz. gold and $25/oz. silver by 2027.

Poor Michelle doesn't understand the Elon Musk quote. She is implying Elon is not biased toward his car production and that he knows more about the copper industry than a hugely successful guy (McEwan )who lives it. She tries to push back on McEwen on other subject matters but she is way over her head. Rob is a gentleman and very patient with her low gasp of economics.
