OMG! My main interest in life was always history and 10th from my ascendant is Aries but I wasn't quite getting what aries has to do with it because normally we'd think the exact opposite since aries is always wanting to start new things, but that I went to google and it clicked! Aries=warriors, warriors like to be on quests and historic research is in essence quest after quest (think Indiana Jones movies or knights of the round table search for the holy grail). 😮 And 10th from my sun would be pisces, the original 12th house arquetype so foreign lands (I found my true calling as a Tour guide, so maybe foreigners will see me as famous hahahahaha). And 10th from my moon is Libra so... oh! That even explains my detour to law school before finding myself as a tour guide. And also Libra is ruled by venus (pleasure) so if my job doesn't give me pleasure it won't sustain me. Ok, my mind is also blown.

Correct!! Start with ascendant as first. Arudha lagna (AL) is determined in the following way. Count from ascendant to its ruler. Say you have Leo rising, then the sun is the ruler. Find the house the Sun is in. Say it is in libra. So from Leo to libra is 3 signs, including Leo. Then from the position of the sun, count 3 more sign, starting with the sign of the sun and you find the AL. It is the public face you present
