Your regular route is *extremely* valuable - it's one of the things that makes your channel stand out from the millions of identical enthusiastic shills. That said, including the extended hill section was super interesting and useful info.... would be good to see bikes that pass your short 20% grade test getting the extended hill test so we can see if they're reliable for us folks who live in hilly places. Be aware new buyers! Just purchased a H7 awd 60 amp. Slow Start and many other options removed from advanced settings in display. The manual does not match my display at all. What that means is you are stuck with a 5 sec delay or more before you get power in pas mode and throttle using front wheel only. Wallke has told me they think that is best for everyone. I think it stinks. So far they have not been very helpful. I asked if I could purchase a display before the changes? I do not think they will. Slow start forever then. It is still rideable just be careful when crossing a large street intersection. I will let you know if they make me happy :)

If it has fat tyres + a double-shock suspension in the back, then it needs a Saxon-Motodd suspension in the front to avoid tank-slapper events. Tourney + mass of the bike is a breakage waiting to happen, it needs an immediate upgrade. Just my 2 cents as a 2-wheeled-vehicle mechanic.

@@stevendennis9417 "tank slapper" is a rapid uncontrollable front wheel self-steering/oscillation side-to-side. The "speed wobbles" that get so bad on motorbikes that the handlebars start to slap the fuel tank, hence the term "tank slapper".

Love your reviews with all these bikes. My main concern is not the speed, power or size. I'm just worried about the bike getting stolen. Sadly, when I lived overseas, I never had a problem with leaving my bikes anywhere. Here in the US, I can't even count how many bikes I've lost. No matter where I parked or what kind of locks and security I used, a thief will find a way to get it. I think besides upgrading motors, frames, gears, etc., security should be at the top of the list. These bikes cost $1000 or more after all. Thank you for another great review.

new circuit obviously a stronger test for a bike that can handle it. 1 mile in sand also a hard test (would crush all other challenges on usual route). Bike looks good, basically. This looks like a pretty terrible bike for pedaling though. Ghost pedaling past 17 mph on the video and the bottom-of-the-line tourney derailleur and a cadence sensor. RipCurrent S has 1/2 the battery and one motor but no ghost pedaling and a great torque sensor. Almost certainly a better pedaling bike.
@lilvegasbasc-se7en-0-duece678 ай бұрын
@@stevendennis9417 Never said it was the BEST pedalac bike out there. Did I? I said it was much better for pedaling than the 50mph bike I have, I dont need high end pedaling. I want low end cruising. There are certainly better bikes then the Ripcurrent, I would buy the Racer before that. If I remember correctly, the Current doesn't even have half the battery capacity, but cost more.. I specifically said I like this bike because it has long range, built in rack & the dual motors are a bonus. It's a low end bike that you can cruise around pedaling, still get some exercise & do little errands around town. Juice Bikes are 💩
@lilvegasbasc-se7en-0-duece678 ай бұрын
@@andyfumo8931 Are you asking if it has a pedal option? Because you can buy those bikes without pedals, just have foot pegs instead. If you're asking about anything to make the bikes better for pedaling, then no, not really. They are moped style ebikes, they have big, wide moto style seats, and they are just not the best option for pedaling. Honestly, though, when you get on it, you're not going to want to pedal. Haha they have so much torque and power that you just mash the throttle right away. You CAN pedal though.. I should say that, you can definitely pedal. You can tame the power output and cruise, but you are not in the best position for a long trip.
