Can’t see how you manage that pull up strap in the middle of the frame, underneath a mattress but the overall design looks pretty good and solid.

I think maybe the storage section would be better in the non-moving back, This would make the front lighter and easier to move. Maybe you should have fittings to stop the front moving when set up as a chair. Overall a good, tidy job. I think I'll copy your design.

Storage section should be at the back. Imagine that storage section is full of food and you have to pull it up every time you need to sleep or when you wake up. Moving part have to be light.
