Swain is the champ i am most comfortable on and i have the highest winrate on. I've noticed that basically every high elo swain will build liandries every game. I love going rod of ages, especially when i dont have much of a front line. Its probably just because im low elo and can get a lead in lane and become unkillable but do you think liandries is the only viable option in high elo?

Rod of Ages into Cosmic Drive, Frozen Heart, Abyssal mask is a situationally strong build imported from the Chinese super server. You will see challenger Swain players like Husum do it pretty frequently when their team lacks frontline. Note that you also run Summon Aery (into melee or low range champions you can trade with) or Phase Rush (into long range) as your keystone with Scorch.

ROA is good but it takes a while to be useful and also the build path is only really good for neutralizing (not for snowballing or skirmishing), I don't think liandry is the only option but I do prefer it over all

At 7:00 the galio nidalee deaths, even if you didn’t trade too much hp with the ult, his aftershock was put on CD which probably affected the fight 👍

I recently picked up galio and he is SO fun! I am obsessed with his hybrid tank build going heartsteel, cosmic, demonic, sunfire, abyssal all with phase rush (i dont mind aftershock but phase rush is fun when u run squishes down). I love to pick him when my team comp is a bit too squishy.
