My second of 8 children was born at 27 weeks , He was transfered to Boston childrens hospital for surgery. He is 21 years old now and healthy. I am also a pediatric homecare nurse and all my patients for the last 25 years have been seen at children's Boston , they are amazing! I live just south of Boston, and we have the best hospitals. Children's, Mass General and Shriners I have dealt with for pediatrics and can't rave about them enough. My son was in Children's at just 3 weeks old for a severe pneumonia, and they were terrific. He just graduated high school last year.

Be sure to ask for parking vouchers where ever you go. Some garages are open after hours so waiting until 9PM, 10PM, or 12M gets you out free.

My twins were in the NICU for 3 months. I was unaware of all the services that were available for us. It could have helped us out tremendously .Pls. Speak to the social worker. They have access to meal vouchers, gas cards and so much more. Prayers to you and your family.❤

37 weeks, by the numbers and charts, puts you hardly in the premmie category. Of course its not the gold standard of a 40 week, full term but its getting close. It is amazing you and that baby have made it this close to 40 weeks.

When you go to a busy hospital like that, often unloading at the ER doors is easiest; ER departments always have security too. And yes, if you come in through emergency all of your testing and appointments get done immediately and/ or on an expedited path.

Brigham & Women’s is a wonderful Hospital( I’ve had specialty care there) and Boston Children’s is top notch as well. You are all where you need to be. Thinking of all of you today. Lots of ❤.

Thank you, sweetheart. Was the parking signs not up for your vehicle to put added stress on your family? My husband was born with a chest condition. He's nearly 81. Your precious son is hearing each of you and others in his adventure to enter your arms. He's popular. I am thinking of a name that starts with a 'P' and the last letter being 'R'''. I have to wait to know his chosen name. Give him the name that you both agree with. Our first came early and died soon after the doctors did all they could. My baby was given a name by me and I talked and sang to him. Him being a son, my husband and my family insisted he be the, II. 34 years later, we got his name on his marker. Momma's and babies go throw biological warfare. Bless you so much for sharing.
