Love the books! I miss my grandson being here to read to. Something I did with my grandson was have him write a story. He’s only 6 so I did the writing as he told it to me. He then acted it for his parents. We also played word games and for my birthday party had a spelling bee game - taking a step forward if they got it right. One of my daughters wrote a book when she was quite young - actually another daughter helped her with the ideas. My children also did a lot of acting writing their own skits. They still do a family Christmas skit. Writing is an outflow of reading and is very important no matter what career choice. I am currently writing a historic fiction about my family and have done research for 5 years which I absolutely love to do. I used to write an article for my local newspaper and also wrote many newspaper opinion pages. For children a research paper teaches great critical thinking skills - something that is lacking with those who rely on the main stream media - especially to research with a Biblical basis. Yes, books are wonderful! That nasty bee! I hope it’s feeling better.

Sorry to hear about your grandma. I love PEI so much, not been there in a few years, as a child we went camping there 2 weeks every summer and was our happy place. We camped near Brackley Beach, always loved to go to Cows ice cream.

I loved seeing you all set up camp right by the beach and ocean. It sounds like you all had a great time and looking forward to seeing the places you visited as it all sounds very interesting and enjoyable, my type of holiday. You look so happy and relaxed and I am glad you had a safe journey, albeit the little ones feeling carsick. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandmother. She sounds like a very special lady who was a good influence in your life and left you with many happy memories. She will always be in your heart 💖 Have a blessed day ❤️🙏🏴

I am so excited for your trip to PEI and enjoyed this so much! I want to go back to PEI so badly! I think you should include the name Prince Edward Island in your future videos (you may have planned that already) so that anyone who does a search for PEI will have the potential to find your video. I’m sorry about your grandmother. It’s a blessing that you had such a close relationship to her.

Great video! Looks like awesome memories were made. Sorry for the loss of your grandmother. Never à fun season, yet your tribute to her is heartfelt. Love your organization and budgeting skills! I'm sure others are learning a lot . I know I am! One of my daughters and her family in Colorado do all sorts of hiking and outdoorsy day trips. She is our families queen of budgeting¡ 😂 When they were little I used to belong to a homeschool group and we shared coupons and other money saving tips. We also did a free swap event several times a year with clothes, toys, books and even household items. Those were the days I miss the most 😊

While my husband was training to be a family doctor he had a baby with Edwards syndrome on the unit. In those days there wasn’t the facility to diagnose during the pregnancy. The babies father was the local fishmonger who always remembered my husband and thanked him for the care he gave the little baby. We lived in the grounds of the hospital and my husband used to pop back to see the little angel every night knowing that he would only be a brief visit to earth. Sending you strength.

I so agree ! I have one doing honours in chemistry she does not believe she will get a job in her field in nz ! she is just so disillusioned! My son got a teaching job in Japan not based on his degree but his teaching adults post graduate! I am a rn so I have a degree 🙃 I have a daughter doing certificates and diplomas and is working her way up the corporate structure without a degree .

My sister and I went to PE island, absolutely loved it ! I have always dreamed about it, and then we made it happen !it was so beautiful, and I love Anne of green cables, still read those much loved books over and over . That deodorant is the one I use, it is aluminum free! I thought the same thing for the price, but have tried others and this one works for me ! You did really good on the shopping, but you always do as you are a smart shopper and know value! God bless you, and I hope you have a wonderful trip !
