Nice neighborhood! The Japanese restaurant where you all started is a place I will visit on my next trip to Bangkok! Food and place looked great! Super ambiance...Kudos to the owner... Soooo much to see and do... I've never visited that part of the city... Love the nooks and crannies of the city... The two young men are a fitting piece of the area IMO... Young, ambitious, doing things...Two thumbs up to them both! Super enjoyable episode, Chris...You're hitting it out of the ballpark! 🙏🙏🙏 👍😎👍

I enjoy watching these types of videos. I want to retire to Thailand in 3 years or less so I'm taking several trips over there to figure out where I want to live even if it's not permanent. I'm basically calculating out for rent. So I'm looking at pricing my expenses off the higher end condo rentals so if I find something I like for less than estimated then I'd be happy as well. Thanks for the videos.

Stayed at Serene 57 in Thong Lor for a week. Perfect little condo about two blocks from the BTS. Ate breakfast at souffle & souffle pancakes cafe. Unfortunately, it shows that it is temporarily closed. It was my first experience with souffle pancakes. The fun part was watching the cook make the souffles. The Serene 57 was fully booked on my last visit to Bangkok. The neighborhood had a weird vibe to it. Part of old Bangkok meets new Bangkok. Some smaller bars on the side streets, and on the corner of Soi57 and Sukhumvit the were grilling lobsters. It was probably my most relaxing stay in all of Bangkok. The owner of several condos in the building was a lovely Thai lady in her early 40's. I got to meet her mom too. Just lovely people.

Great video. Just wanted to let you know that I was just in Thailand like 1-2 weeks ago and tried your favorite pad krapao place in Raum Saab Market. Probably one of the best tasting pad krapao that I've ever had, at a very cheap price, and the amount was amazing as well (I could barely finish it). Thanks for the amazing recommendations. I'm definitely going to have to try more of the food stalls at Raum Saab Market the next time I go to Thailand.

Soi 11 NANA and Thonglor have completely different lifestyles. NANA is an African and Indian area, Nana has been a red light area for 60 years and remains so today. Thonglor is the opposite of Nana. Thonglor is a chic residential area. And here is known as Little Japan. Rich and famous people from Thailand come to Thonglor to eat and party. Thonglor does not have à gogo bar.
