Just got the base RX 2024. I have no complaints and it's more than enough for my family's needs. I got an amazing deal at the dealer for 54,000 OTD as longest I finance with them and traded in my old NX with their dealer. It's a night and day difference between this car and my older NX300H.

I really like the new RX. It should continue to be a huge seller for Lexus. My biggest complaint is not with the car but how they do the trim levels and options. Based on the pre-order guide, there are 6 trim levels and several options for each trim level. For example, the Premium+ trim level (my favorite) has 10 additional options. I much prefer how Acura does it with the MDX. So much simpler and typically more affordable. I would prefer for see the same 6 trim levels but with most or all of the options for that trim level included.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but I’m pretty sure this is not the base model, but the RX with premium package, since it has the moonroof, ventilated seats, memory drivers seat and aluminum roof rails. I just ordered this model but with 14 inch screen, so I’m glad you made this video. Thankfully, I’m subscribed to your channel because this video doesn’t come up when you do a search for 2023 rx350.

Thanks for reviewing this trim. I have been dying to see the interior of any non F Sport model. It looks better than I was imagining. I’ll probably end up purchasing the Premium, but I’m not so sure about the NuLuxe seating. I prefer leather. I usually keep my cars for 10 years. Any idea how it holds up compared to leather?

Nuluxe in theory holds up better than leather. It's more resistant to wear and tear but not as soft as leather typically. I usually can't tell the difference

I recently traded in a 2015 ES 350 with Nuluxe and it still looked brand new on the interior. Not a single crack or wrinkle. They’re also really comfortable and soft. Nuluxe is definitely one of the best imitation leathers out there.

That white RX you reviewed was not a base model, that was a “premium” model because it had ventilated front seats and driver seat memory which are not available on a base trim. And yes, “multi zone” climate control is standard.

He didn’t really show us what was configurable in the cluster. According to Lexus, a 7” multi-information display is standard. The only other unique cluster listed is for the F-sport models.

I struggle to drive my hybrid the way that I want and on the freeways people are going at speeds of 85-90. So I’m thinking to get something with better acceleration, better top end and mid-range, better interior materials, better sound deadening, and passable gas mileage(25 combined). gas prices are coming down in Southern California. It was 6$. Now it’s $4.89. But meh, I don’t know. You make good points too.
