I think you're usually okay if a) it's a black bear and b) you don't come between the mother and the cubs. Black bears are often used to being around humans. This looks like a wonderful, healthy family!

Definitely! We were in the car, so we were safe lol. Very neat experience to watch them!

How cool! We had a similar Cades Cove experience a few years ago. Mama bear sent her three little cubs up a tree while she grazed on plants and was right beside our car. So great when you can safely see them so up close.

Definitely! I bet that was awesome to see as well.

All three bears slipped casually through the wires of the fence.

Yep. No barbs, so that helps.

I see this every time I go to Cades Cove. Just be glad you didn't see any pigs.

Didn’t even know they had pigs in there.

These short Clip's and Videos are really fantastic too view n see. As they have reminded me of my own past experiences that were very much similar. Although I've never had a really closeup encounter with a, or Grizzlies of say less than 100' away out in the open. I have had an occasional opportunity or Two with Black bears being within say 15 to 20 feet from Me while out Camping 🏕️🏕️ or they just meandered by our Campsites. Or they have investigated my Tent sites while I was sleeping. As for it being a Grizzly? I was never really aware of it at the time. Well that's enough of My past I guess for now. Thank You. Ahhh Here is my last thoughts 💭💬 about our close interactions with our Wildlife breathenrens. IT'S usually been a very simple situation of if you don't Mean them Harm, They Don't Mean You Harm Either. May God Bless US All.

This momma bear probably walked right by humans with its mother when she was a cub, that is possibly why it is so relaxed around humans.
@LynchburgOutdoors3 ай бұрын
Yep, that’s very possible.

@@LynchburgOutdoors I should have done it years ago. At the present time the number of hours I am allowed to fly is very limited. There are so many things I would have liked to have done but unfortunately will now be unable to do them. I will look out for your videos in the future. Can I just offer you some advice, which is, try to do as much as you can whilst you are able to do it. Do not put things off for "tomorrow"! I wish that I hadn't!!

They didn’t. It’s just cables without any barbs. The entire loop is like that. I was thinking the same thing lol
