Way back in 1998 I had a '90 KX 250. It was in worse condition than this bike. The frame was cracked just the same, the factory welds were terrible. I stripped it down and fixed it and painted the frame. My engine had a slight knock at low revs. I replaced the connecting rod, main bearings and piston. Still the exact same low rev knock 😂 A guy told me, yeah they just run like that😅 Maybe the ignition timing was too aggressive, I cant remember if I checked it. Good luck with this one!

Me too man. I had a 91 KX80 and my fav rider at the time was jeff matiasevich, with the 90s fluro gear, these bikes looked amazing

great video, thank you for taking the time to setup each shot, you must spend more time setting up the camera and editing the video than you do dismantling and building the bike. I wouldn't''t have the patience. Its the little things i find interesting, the whole bike is tired and even taking a nut off that looks like its about to break. All the bolts are bent, frame looks a bent and cracked. its great to see how you transform these old bikes. thanks again, look forward to the next one.

Thanks dude - yes the camera work takes way longer than the bike itself , so I'm happy there's people like you who appreciate it because that's what makes it worth it.

It’s Unbelievable how some people Neglect their Bikes !…I bought a 2006 CR125 & did what Your doing Now…Luckily it was Actually in Great Shape & had only 20 hrs on it according to the guy I bought it from,but I had to Go through the Whole Bike,I still have it & have to Go through it again 🤣

And so the journey to another masterpiece begins, one of my least favorite things about Japanese bikes is all the JIS screws they use, that was probably why the hammer driven impact was invented.

I finally bought a set of JIS driver tips last year! I’m a slow learner! 😆

Exceptional editing, audio and picture quality. Such great resto work. Maybe ditch the @madmarc water mark? It is a bit distracting
@madmarc2 ай бұрын
Thanks man, I made the watermark smaller and less obtrusive than the previous videos so I didn't think people would really notice it

OK ,convinced this old fart- much smarter and quicker(& easier on the hands) to incorporate a battery drill for bike disassembly. - 6 bikes + 1 quad later.lol. great video production! will continue watch your videos.cheers

@@paulvandersluys7412 eventually I hope to buy a 1/4" impact gun to replace this old drill. Maybe before the end of this build I'll finally do it
