I wanted to shop Devinah for Black Friday but after shopping at Bellabeautebar, Ensley Reign, Clionadh, and Notoriously Morbid...I ran outta money 😆 There was just sooooo many good sales. You got a killer deal.

Which is unusual. It seems like most years, indie brands haven’t really been able to have bf sales. Sounds like you got a lotta good shit, tho. I just jumped on this because it launched at a time when I was completely unable to get it. I have a lot of stuff from the other brands you mentioned. I’m grateful I could get this. Plus, it’s kinda hard when I know for a fact when I get an older launch, it’s not really gonna get the views. It just isn’t. I got this purely for me.

I like your hair this way--I just wish I could figure out how to keep the curls and waves while taming the frizz! It's a constant struggle. LOVE those Devinah shimmers! The Mystic Cove collection is a bit pricier, but those are honestly my fav shadows from the brand and some of my top ones from my whole collection. So worth it! I'm that person who waits all year or half the year for sales, too. Picked up the Nomad New Zealand Stargazing palette, some Terra Moons and SBSD singles, and a few others for BF this year.

I feel like brands who sell singles are so spendy. Like TM, SBSD, and Devinah. Clionadh. BF is the time for those brands. Also, using a cream cleanser instead of shampoo really helps. Like Hairstory or Curlsmith

Hey Katie 👋🏽 You're like speaking to my soul in this video. Green is my favorite color, however, I have olive tones so I find certain greens pops more on me. K i l l e r look per usual. 💚 Fell off from watching certain "bigger" channels. Just wasn't drawn into the drama & like you said same b.s. Android 4life. I do have conflicted thoughts bcuz everything is compatible to 🍎. My brother just upgraded his phone & we're on a family plan, for yrs with the company starting with V. For whatever reason, he's heard more times to count oh we can't help you. So in the few times he's having to walk into the store just to have them waive the hot spot additional charges. I find it sneaky, they're counting on customers not paying attention to that 👀 I went bananas during BFCM sales, some sales still happening. I am the one to hold off at end of year for sales. You rock! 🖤

I know this about you. You do hold out for sales. Love that. Also, I too, am conflicted about iPhone. I LOVE ANDROID. Plus, I’m just an android kinda girl. I feel like iPhone is kinda like the neutral palette of phones. But like I said, I just wanted to try it and see if it makes my life a little simpler.

Also, you're so right! If you make a plan and are strategic about sales, it's worth it. Last year, I had just learned about the brand between end of 2022/beginning of 2023. I made a wishlist after a few really good deep dive swatching videos through 2023, and narrowed down to spend what I budgeted myself for Christmas, and I fell in love hard-core with my choices. Soo then, my wishlist grew by a few more, and it grew into their matte shades too because they were so unique to my collection most of them. Soo, at my birthday this year, I used a gift card from family to try a matte or two and knew ok, I like that formula too. And I saved and narrowed down the list to what I could realistically get for now after really sitting down with the vids, website and notebook and calculator. Lol. Their sale was amazing too!

Dude, I would love to do that and get some more mattes by Devinah. The mattes are surprisingly good. I feel like Devinah is pricey, BUT she has a lot of ways to get good deals.
