The thing is that there are a lot of good quality stories on Wattpad. For example, in the historical fiction genre and fantasy sections. This book is one of many works that manage to get loose in the real world that is very poor quality. I think that whoever allowed this book to be published should have said that it wasn't ready to be published. It is problematic, is poorly written, and very poor quality. The author herself is very problematic as well. She refuses to listen to the criticism directed to her stories.

Actually, one of the girls Rose actually was in love with them. Before she was kidnapped, they were in love theoretically. He took her to his home hoping that she would be his wife, but she discovered the flower girls, which then "forced" him to convert her into a flower girl. He always wished that that didn't happen and that he could be her husband. Rose never wanted to hurt him and never wanted to escape. She was in love with him and he was in love with her. I know this because I read the book this summer [Ha, that's her name] on a beach trip because I finished my book and that was the book my friend brought.

I remember watching that episode on TV when i was younger, it freaked me out so much i turned it off. I thought about it many times for years, i thought it was a movie. The whole “kidnapped girls who are renamed after flowers” setup was literally the premise for a creepypasta I read years ago omg this is so funny It even had where there had been other girls assigned the same flower name who’d been killed off

I LOVE it when main characters have low self-esteem. It's so quirky! Also, Lily could have easily made a shiv with that spatula. Hell she could have made mulitple shivs, form a take-down team with Violet and the others. She could also smash ANY appliances or furniture and fashion a weapon from it. SHE COULD EVEN CUT HER HAIR AND USE IT TO CHOKE CLOVER! But no. In this world, humans in captivity COULDN'T care less. I think if the author included just a little bit of action, this book would be way more interesting.

The worst part is that a lot of time victims of kidnapping really don’t try to kill their captors despite having opportunities, and if this was actually well written they could have shown that, like have them be too afraid and mentally beaten down to attack him, but no, instead this book chooses to just make all these characters look like idiots.

If i remember correctly, he routinely checks in on them and doesn't give them anything even remotely useful to hurt him with except for the pans. And even then, he is Terrifying from what I can remember. Most of his power is what he has mentally convinced them of, which is the fact that he will immediately kill them if they try something. They also get like routinely raped by him which is physical and mental torture.

Another thing that kind of annoyed me about Summer is that she constantly talks about missing Lewis, but not her parents or brother.
@estrellaashleywilliams40613 жыл бұрын
She did mentioned her family a few times but said that thinking about them made her depressed but thinking about Lewis made her more hopeful and I have the feeling that she wasn't that close to her family at all and felt that Lewis loves and cares for her more than her own family care about her.
