Pull all those sparks out of survival and put at least 10 sparks into smash stance so you can get that 3rd focus point then distribute the rest of your sparks between the top half of stamina and the left side of martial arts...then your charged heavy attacks will be an absolute game changer...being patient and waiting for oppertune times to stagger him with heavy attacks charged to 3 focus points will do way more damage then trying to get in close to hit him with light attacks and losing half your health each time he hits you

From what I know so far: •Wear the full serpent armor Dodge towards him instead of away •He will have certain delayed attacks, so keep an eye out and dodge during those for perfect dodge. •Whenever he’s jumping high up, it’s your opportunity to slam him. •Don’t attack him when he’s turned into a stone •Be extremely patient by waiting for an opening to attack him after he finishes doing his attacks. You can either do thrust stance or light attacks. •Immobilize him often (not during his attacks) to slam him.

@@themcadamsminute8494 I don’t know if it’s really necessary to even level up that far when it’s just chapter 2. It’s meant to be a tough fight, but don’t give up. Definitely invest some sparks in your slam stances and martial arts as well.

Dont dodge away from him, Dodge TOWARDS him. That gives you better opportunity to dodge subsequent attacks in his combo Have serpentine armor for recovery in water (pool of blood is water)

It also bears mentioning to make sure you all use “Evil repellent” & the “Tiger Subduing” potions to give you a fighting chance. One boosts your defense & the other your attack, both moderately.

For me with this guy kicked my ass 6 times I tried a few strategies but i had to definitely make my own skill tree put the serpant scale armor on and I totally maxed out My stamina spark tree its a game changer the guy could barely hit me so I focused on the dodging and heavy attacks I stayed close to the outer walls of the pool and his rock solid attack he would end up hitting the wall so I was able to spam my combos. And if you can time it perfect when he jumps at you transform into the wandering wight and it totally messes his attack pattern up. It went from him flying all over the pool to me having to go at him. It feels great when you smash this guy

Use Cloudstep, while you are hidden charge your 3 point combo attack and attack him right before your cloudstep disappears.

Wear the Serpentscale armor when fighting this boss - when your health gets low it keeps regenerating automatically.

The trickiest thing about this boss is the delayed attacks with the combination of his fast attacks. You have to constantly change your rhythm because I would get in the habit of dodging really fast then get crushed by his delayed sword swing.

@@RickyJSports I recommend you do the drunken boar quest to get the wind tamer ! It comes in clutch during the wind sage boss fight but I beat him on my 4th try once I knew all of his attacks and I used the regular stance to build up focus then switched to pillar stance to do the heavy attack. I used the wind tamer once I had his health past half way through

Naught this boss was easy so was the captain that was nerfed recently in the update , guys the game was initially easier than your souls games but more difficult than AC so it was getting there was so good is so good until the update that they needing bosses because bitches can’t pass them 😂naaaah mate rather just make a level of difficulty I’ve been wanting things to get tougher not easier lol , wait until you come across Yellow Brow chapter 3 it’s a 4 stage boss fight good luck homie, word of advice do all the side quests before the boss

This games not that hard at all. They give you so many cheese abilities. You get spirits, a transformation that gives you a full HP form that doesnt affect your actual HP and a move that makes you go invisible. Do not give up, i beat the wind sage in 3 attempts and i SUCK at roguelikes.
