The ReX coverstock is the best pearl coverstock that Storm has released in a while. It is just so versatile. If I didn't already have a ball that exists in that spot I would buy an VEBO.

I agree. REX remains smooth on the fresh, but seems to still work on a huge amount of burn without burning up. Ever since getting the Infinite Physix, it's been my most used ball since it just seems to always work. I'm still heavily considering getting the VEBO just so that I can keep the Infinite at 3k and keep the VEBO at 5500 for two different reactions with two near identical balls.

@@dennisbeck2521 Yes you get it. It's also super responsive to surface change. If they ever stop using that cover it would be a huge fuble on their part. Seeing as how the instant they discontinue a ball with it and release a new one I don't think they will. RIP Dark Code. Haha

Here's my arsenal currently: TNT, TNT infused, fate, black venom, and hustle M+M. I've practiced with the infused and I love it. I'll throw it in my next league to see how it does.

Update: I absolutely LOVE the infused! The numbers are identical with the TNT and the infused. Solid vs hybrid is the only difference. When the TNT starts to turn in early, this is the perfect ball to get that extra length to hit pocket.

Being a hybrid, the infused stores significantly more energy for the backend than the original. I've seen it glide through most of the lane, then rev/speed up on the backend like a reality, then explodes through the pins.

I use a pin up Reality at about 3500 surface, a VEBO pin down (semi RICO) at about 3000 surface, and then a pin up Electrify Hybrid with lane shine, and of course, a Storm Mix spare ball.

I can usually get by with two balls but bring 3, and my spare ball. Conspiracy solid or Phase II to start depending on the shot, then Prism hybrid.

So my Arsenal is Gem-IQ Tour Ruby- Absolute. Still working on when to throw which. I sanded the Gem to 1000 grit and am trying to throw it in game one to help make a lane for my IQ in game two. Then Absolute game 3 when I have to go left. Would love your thoughts on how I should work these 3 and order wise. Just learned how to play left and loving it! Thanks love your channel

I'm Transitioning over to SPI, (Strom Product Inc) I was throwing hammer.. But Right Now. My Arsenal. Is Zen Gold Label.. and I have A Strom Vitrual Energy Black Out on the way. And Also a 900 Global Xponent on the way! I only bowl local tournaments that use modified house shots...so a big solid asymmetrical would be a wasted spot in my bag. Since the houses I bowl is high friction anyways so there's a lot of free hook to the right!

Hey Luis! Thanks for sharing your league bag with us. I have a Phaze 2, Duo, Hustle M-M as my 3 ball league bag with a Pitch Black as my spare ball. I started rebuilding my bag back in April 2023, so it would have been a little different than if I built it now. I may try building a 2nd bag w/ Magic Gem, Journey, VEBO and try different combinations to get a "better" bag, but I have rolled 277 each with the P2 and Duo and I just rolled a 289 with the M-M the other day (not in the same night). Looking forward to your next video / league night

My League arsenal is: Black Widow 3.0 Idol Pitch Black I use the Pitch Black mostly as a spare ball for league but it is dual purpose, so in the rare chance the oil is not done properly or wears down faster than usual, I will use it as my main ball while still keeping it as a spare ball.

Bro your not kidding Luis, i avg around 210 the last few years, and this season even tho its only 8 weeks in im 230 on one league and 225 on one, i got the exotic gem which i shot a 836 with, the duo and hustle m+m, roto grips stuff is just straight fire right now. They making me look like a pro out here. I also grabbed a purple hammer and shot a 300 with it, my first urethane ball. Good products man

I use three balls for league (one spare and two balls). But I've been having issues with transition with the two ball arsenal. How would a lineup of Gem, Idol Cosmos, Tour Dynam-X work for your setup?

Currently I'm not in a league so I normally take more than 3 with me. But a 3 ball league arsenal for me depends where I'm bowling. First ball either UC3 or DNA. Second ball either Dark Code or Zen with 4000. And third ball IQ Ruby or Mutant Wolverine

For me it just depends on practice. I dont have anything like a magic gem…yet. My closet balls would be a Roto grip halo and a newly bought zero parallax. Then usually go to an idol synergy or an idol pearl if the halo or the parallax start eating up the front of the lane too fast but the issues you have with the tnt infused are the same that i have with the idol pearl except i leave more 4 or 9 pins after making pretty decent shots

I hear a lot of people talk about zones they are throwing on the lanes. Can you post a video that talks about zones in terms of where you are standing versus the arrows you are throwing at calling out the zone. That would be helpful for me and others as well I think. Maybe a Phaze II as an example ball. I just drilled my first about a week ago,.. Thanks again for the great content!!!

General idea: Zone 1 starts at the gutter to about the 7 board. Zone 2 is the track, Zone 3 around 3rd to 4th arrow, etc. You'll notice those with higher revs or slower speeds usually stand more in zone 3. And speed dom straight players play zone 1 - 2. But it also depends on your house and how much oil there is, and length of pattern what zone you'll typically play. So if you start with your phaze 2 on the track, the ball will tell you if you are in the right ball. If you are lined up, watch it. Is it reading too early?

I absolutely loved this video. I was hoping you would do something like this. Great balls for you. My arsenal in high friction house of wooden lanes is the tour dynam x to start then to the absolute with polish on it and then going to go to the iq tour Rudy with a little surface on it. Have not thrown it in league as far as ruby but will this Tuesday night. As far as the other house with synthetic new lanes throwing the dark moss with surface then the zen with polish on it and haven’t come up with a third ball as yet. Last house is a senior senior league and have not got comfortable on synthetic lanes yet. Low speed low rev bowler 74 years old. Your thoughts please

I'm working on creating a 4-ball arsenal. So far, I have the Top Speed and just recently bought the Summit. RH bowler, avg. speed 15-17 mph. I don't know the exact revs (avg.- high revs). I use 15 lbs balls. What other balls should I look to add or check out? what order should I have them? Have any recommendations Luis? I'm new to 2Handed, and my alley seems fairly dry, basic Kegal house shot. My game 1 ball is the Revenant @4k (4.5*x*2 2LS) I don't need anything stronger for league. I'm struggling with transition and burn, as the ball down options from a Revenant are slim. I tried an Electrify with the same layout, it works okay, but is only about 3 boards weaker than the Revenant, I need a bigger gap. I tried a HyRoad Pearl with a 5" Pin, and that is even sharper, covers even more boards, and forces me arguably more left. At this point, I'm either looking at an IQ Solid, to try and get something as smooth as possible, but the solid cover worries me slightly for burn. Another option would be a Tropical Surge, or I might have to start getting extreme with short pin layouts. Curious what your thoughts were.

It's been a 2-ball combo in my 3-game league that's been bailing me out of trouble. I've been suspecting that the house shot is a 39 ft. challenge pattern. So, I'm currently using a Gem (pin down) from game 1 up until the end of the first half of game 2. Then, I switch off to a Quantum EVO Solid for the rest of the night. 😅

I am considering getting the VEBO to replace my Infinite PhysiX.. I have worn it out. What are some of your thoughts/opinions? My league progression: Reality, Reality, Reality. If I have to get out of the Reality.. then Absolute. Idk what the pattern is but theres quite a bit of volume and plays pretty flat.

I wish I knew what arsenal is good for me. Honestly I feel like based on how bad I’ve been bowling for a while it seems that I can make any good ball from storm or any brand look bad. I move left, forward, backward, and every which way and the lanes still feel cliffed. I know if I were to bowl against you, whether for fun or for a ball or jersey you’d smoke me easily.

Whenever I go on an extended struggle time I don’t look at arsenal I look at being able to repeat shots and get back to basics! Trust that it will help

When I am struggling, like Luis said, go back to basics. From top to bottom, shoulders back, elbow in, hand stays under the ball, hips positioned toward your breakpoint, slide knee bent upon release, balance hand palm face out, posting your shot. I would suggest working on your form in practice so you can execute in league. Maintaining your balance at the foul line is crucial for repeating shots. Good luck.

@@CliftonDon74 Yea but the Solid, Hybrid, and Pearl is just not right. There are some Hybrid covers that are super clean and clear the front much better than a some pearl cover stocks. There are some clean Solid coverstocks as well. And some Smooth pearl covers. What I mean is categorizing covers based on solid, hybrid, and pearl is pointless.

@No_Lucks_Given it's not "the rule" it's his rule. Everyone has their own methods and bowling logic that works for them and their style. For me, I am working with a Phaze 2, Duo, Hustle M-M for my league bag. Then I am looking to add something like a BW 2.0 Hybrid or Magic Gem for the top of the bag, a Journey for the middle, and a VEBO or Stealth for the middle bottom for a 6 ball tournament arsenal. Watching these videos, rebuilding my "arsenal" after using the same balls for the last 17 years has been fun... and costly.
