Freddie has been gone almost 34 years, I’ve seen this video and heard this song hundreds of times and it still chokes me up each time. That’s the impact. It’s so hard to see Freddie in such poor health but his voice remained and we are so blessed that he shared it with us.

This was Freddie's last video. The final "I still love you" was a goodbye to his fans. We will always love you Freddie. RIP The King of Queen❤

Roger wrote this song about seeing his children growing up and recalling when they were young. Because of the time that this song was recorded, it takes on a different feel and as Roger looks back now, he sees where the changes in the life of the band were also instrumental in the writing of this song. These four men had spent the bulk of their lives together for 20 years and what a wild ride it was. They were mostly the only constant in any of their lives and the band outlived all of their marriages except for John and if his wife had not been adament about insisting on no divorce, his marriage would have tanked also. Suddenly they were going to be losing one fourth of their lives, a chunk of their shared history would soon be no more and man did it sting. The other three struggled with all of the emotions as they watched their dreams and their soul brother slowing slipping from their grasp. They had all put in so much, they had all sacrificed so much and now, it would soon be over. RIP Freddie Mercury, you said you would not be a rock star but that you would be a legend. Mission accomplished. We are all proud members of the "Queen Army" and we are a force, that is for sure. Brian certainly knows how to make his guitar cry, his solo on this song is so emotional it make me cry every time.

Poor Freddie who could never be still on stage for one moment. Having to stand and wave his arms around because it is too painful to walk. RIP 33 years.

This was one of his last songs recorded and this is the last video before Freddie’s death 4 months later. He could barely stand and was in a lot of pain. He was sayinggoidbupye to his fans in this. It breaks my heart, how hard this was for him to do, but he felt he wanted to, had to. He as a very loving and generous person, his heart was big, upheaval loved people. RIP sweet Freddie. ❤❤❤❤❤

This is the last music video, but Freddie went on to record more songs. "Mother Love" is the last recorded song which Brian finished after Freddie was gone. Today is the 33rd anniversary of Freddie's death. Those of us who lived through and lost friends to AIDS back then remember the horrors of this disease. It was a death sentence and it was harrowing. You will always remember COVID. I hope you didn't lose anyone but I know you saw the results. AIDS wasn't that fast. People deteriorated over time. There were few treatments that only prolonged the inevitable. Freddie was very brave even though he was constantly stalked by the paparazzi. I had did pretty good keeping it chill today and then your video came up in my feed. Now I'm in tears. I'm glad you heard the lyrics. Dr Suess said 'Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened' I'm trying ✌💖😀

This makes all Queenies cry. Might be better for new fans to play this song months after you fall in love with Queen. We take this song very seriously.

John the bass player took Freddie’s death so hard. John soon left the band and is missed so much. Amazing bass player. Roger and Brian were devastated also. All in their own way but held together. The other song about Freddie is only the good die young. Great song. Love Freddie ❤

As others have said, Freddie passed away 33 years ago today.. Guitarist, Brian May and drummer, Roger Taylor still tour as Queen, Bass player, John Deacon only played with them 3 times, first on the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992, next of the single, Only The Good Die Young with Brian and Roger sharing the vocals, and finally with Elton John singing The Show Must Go On. Brian and Roger collaborated singer, Paul Rodgers, playing mostly Queen songs, but also doing some Free and Bad Company songs from two bands that Paul was lead singer. They now tour with Adam Lambert, who they feel, although he can't replace Freddie, he is keeping Freddie's spirit alive. I think, if you want to hear a really banging Queen song, then you need to react to I Want It All.

❤ Thankyou for your reactions to Queen, yeah this is Fred’s last video, I think of the strength of will these guy’s had knowing Freddie was dying, but he just said to the rest of the band, I don’t want to talk about it again, I just want to make as much music as I can, just write me things and I’ll sing 🎶 it, until I can’t, then I’ll die & that’s what he did & they just helped him but it must have been killing them inside, their brother their best friend 😢. Such a strong 💪 band of brothers right to the end ❤

Thanks - I haven't listened to this much.. written by Roger, actually... it makes me sad, as well b/c Freddie was "failing"... but also, it's uplifting in some ways.... Listen to "Made in Heaven"... appreciate your reaction!

This is so hard to watch. I want to cry. It always felt so wrong that he died when he did instead of as an old man of being old. You see the end coming and I just feel so sad.

Only The Good Die Young was written by the remainder of Queen after Freddie died. John Deacon never played with Queen again. Queen still tours.
@maryadamec124Ай бұрын
Hey Kevin... thanks again for yet another amazing reaction... FYI... you can refer to us Queenie's as "the royal family", of which you are now a part of... congrats! For a true taste of "royalty", I would suggest you return to the early days of Queen and check out the songs on their newly remastered debut album, now called Queen I, and a song called "Liar", in which you get a spectacular experience of every band member's instrumental musical abilities... truly awesome and unforgettable... or "My Fairy King" or "Ogre Battle" or... BTW... Queen NEVER split up!! John Deacon (the bass player) was so traumatized by Freddie's passing, that he left the music business for good. They (Brian and Roger) are still together today, with Adam Lambert as lead singer, and hinting about new music being created... I'm holding my breath... miracles do happen!! We can only hope and pray... blessings.
